We have escaped to a piece of heaven on earth. Your care of us far passes any name resort. All you have put into your place is amazing. Sharing it with others and giving of your self expression by the details in the cabin shows both of your's great character. Gracious hosts - personal touches to make our stay so wonderful. Needed some quiet! I found that. And a warm welcome in a cozy house with warm bread. And a distillery tour on the edge of the property rounded out this Appalachia experience. Hiked in Little Switzerland with short detour on the way home to Charlotte.

Getaway
Cabin was beautiful, had everything anyone would need. Owners were very responsive and easy to talk to. It rained the entire stay but that didn’t keep us from hiking and relaxing, reading. Will definitely come back . Would like to try the Airstream.

Heaven on earth
I cannot say enough great things about this place!! So peaceful and quiet, it really brings you down to earth. The dogs had an absolute wonderful time running around and swimming. Everything is so well thought out, there was not a need or want for anything during out stay there.

We loved the Rocky Bottom Cabin and surrounding area. the gurgling creek was amazing. We enjoyed the fire and the cabin was awesome. Also South Mountains State Park and great hiking was only a short drive away. We would HIGHLY recommend this property and would love to return again.

Thanksgiving in a piece of Heaven!
We really enjoyed our weekend at Bob and Gail’s place. The dogs had a blast and we were able to unwind and get ready for future plans. Thank you Bob and Gail!
