It was fortunate my operation for a knee replacement was postponed or I wouldn't have managed the stairs (no lift). The first floor room was stifling as it was during the ongoing heatwave. "The breakfast was lovely. There’s no air-conditioning so you’ll have to crack the window. There’s some stairs, so just be aware that you need to carry your luggage up some stairs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. "

"Lovely staff but unfortunately the room is not fit for purpose, food is decent Was showed room 8 but window broken (35 degree heat) & was given option for room9 a twin. *hole in floor trip hazard *curtain didnt open/close properly *no side lqmp* *Sheets scratchy *broken floor tiles en suite *shower rusty Was given a fan v grateful for but filthy & throwing off bits, cleaned it but not acceptable"

"This hotel is the back of beyond and not very pleasant.. restaurant not open for evening meals due to the heat.. no fans in the rooms so broken ones were found but were absolutely filthy .. it appeared that the ground floor of the hotel was let to the local housing team for those in need… cleaning staff were lovely and helpful as were both the front of house team but would not recommend staying here … this should be solely turned over to the local council…"
