"The house was beautifully situated with incredible views and comfortable furnishings. It was perfect for our group of 6 —a mix of family and friends—as we explored Iceland for the first time. We loved getting to know Borgarnes and the Settlement Center. The drive to Reykjavík was a little longer than we expected but it wasn’t prohibitive for our plans. "We stayed in late May. The cabin was wonderful and easy to find. We visited the peninsula as a day trip. Did a day in Borgarnes - Blomasetrio Kaffi, and the Settler’s Centre. Had lazy days of relaxing and enjoying the amazing views. "

"We stayed at this property for 3 nights, wish we could have stayed longer! Amazing views, kids loved the video games, sauna and hot tub were nice after a long day of sightseeing. Host was super responsive to check in questions and showed us around and had manuals for operating hot tub and sauna. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area!"

"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "

"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"
