Bungalow spacieux , confortable et idéalement placé sur pilotis ! On peut faire du snorkling directement du ponton du bungalow et voir de nombreux poissons . Super rapport qualité prix pour Bora et Nir et sa femme sont très à l’écoute et très réactifs , merci à eux . Nous reviendrons c’est sur !

We had a fantastic stay at the bungalows! Our group of seven rented both two-bedroom units and found them to be spacious and comfortable. The location offers a relaxed, local vibe while still being conveniently close to town. A rental car is definitely recommended—and can be arranged if needed.We spent a lot of time enjoying the patio and swim area, where we saw an abundance of sea life. The double kayaks were a great bonus and added to the experience.Nir and his wife were incredibly helpful and always quick to respond, and the owner, Richard, was also very easy to communicate with.For anyone interested in diving, we highly recommend booking a dive with Hiro, located just down the road. Overall, a wonderful stay and we'd gladly return!

The A/C units worked great. The place was clean and in a good location. The kitchen was adequate, but could use a little better utensils. Had great porch, but the sun deck could have been a bit larger. Yes We would stay there again.

The setting is absolutely beautiful. There is snorkeling to be done right off the dock. We even saw an octopus! The kayak was fun to use but a bit awkward to move from the balcony to the water (and back up). We crossed to the islands across the lagoon which was quite a workout on a windy day. Saw a flying ray leap out of the water. Spectacular! There was a turtle that liked to hang out but never came close enough for us to swim with it. Parking the rental car was also easy. Local friendly dogs can't read the "No dogs allowed sign." Super funny. The place is true to the photos and we encountered no problems. We had a great time. The patio with table is a great place to have dinner or one's morning coffee.Beds are comfortable and AC works quite well. The kitchen is not stocked and a bit of oil and spices could go a long way as we were trying to cook. The living room furniture is patio furniture but it works fine. The plastic dish rack needs to be scrubbed or replaced. We didn't use it. It would be great to have enough shampoo, not just little bottles that aren't that good for the environment. The drive to the other end of the island for white sand beach is not that long. Definitely recommend this place. I would go back.

Paradise in Bora Bora

A beautiful large and airy bungalow with a well equipped kitchen. The veranda was nicely furnished and easily hosted our evening cocktails hours watching the sunset. Nir, the manager was a pleasure to deal with. He was easily accessed. The bungalow was equipped with a cellphone which afforded direct access to Nir for any question, as well as local calls to book outings.

Rustic OWB with 2 Bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Interesting location if you want to swim with Manta Rays (we did) - about 1/2 kms away for beach entry to swim 30m to Manta Ray cleaning area with reliable Manta viewing for snorkelers. No need for a lagoon excursion to do this from a boat. Need a car - rented from the caretakers. Historical building with with needs for inside door repairs. Deck is nice and full shade. Kayak for guest use. Mask, snorkel & fins provided. Air conditioning is good. Hot and cold water are good. Full kitchen. Wi-Fi is good. Noise from nearby road and water transport traffic is heard. Outdoor cold shower is good. We were met at the dock on Vaitape by caretaker and she delivered our car. We returned the car to their home and they drove us to our next destination on Bora Bora. Many large towels for shower and water activities. A good stay for our needs for Manta Ray snorkel experience. A good stay if you want the OWB experience.

Grande maison sur pilotis, confortable et bien équipée. Terrasse directement au-dessus du lagon avec visite régulière de poissons. Nous recommandons ce logement.

We absolutely loved staying at this bungalow. The property hosts were so kind and accommodating. They were easy to communicate with and gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to do around the island. The area was beautiful and we enjoyed spending time in the water and on the deck.

Little Slice of Heaven

Both the owner and onsight manager (Nir) were extremely helpful. The car provided by Nir is a must and made grocery shopping and exploration of the island so easy. Loved having a full kitchen at this extremely clean property. Sunsets so lovely and jumping into the water to cool off divine - lots of sea life. Tis a little slice of heaven.

One Word - WOW!

What a great spot this place was! Lots of sea life and a short ride to the grocery store, etc. The property manager is very helpful and friendly. The snorkeling is fantastic, and along with multiple types of reef fish, we saw octopus, rays, reef sharks (on an excursion), eels, and jelly fish. We will definitely be back!

Great property for my family of 4. Host was great they gave us a phone and we rented a car from them. We saw sting rays, sea turtles, and fish on the deck. Full kitchen and AC in every room. Watched some nice sunsets.They had great communication with arriving and leaving they allowed us to check in on arrival at 9am and leave at 4pm. It also included a 2 person kayak some floating things and snorkel gear. If we go back it will be here.

Quiet and Enjoyable

The property managers Nir and Tiare were awesome and very attentive to our needs. A cell phone is provided for communication purposes, and they recommended a restaurant that featured a Polynesian show. The location is fairly central between Vaitape and Matira Beach. Just make sure you have a car. The water pressure and temperature was great. There is plenty of room for two couples, but one bathroom was kind of an issue. We got by with the kitchen tools and dishes, but there could have been more options. Included spices and kitchen staples are minimal. Be prepared to purchase everything needed to prepare your own meals. The appliances worked fine, but there is no dishwasher. There is a clothes washer, but we didn’t use it. The amenities in the bathroom were also minimal. If you want to be able to wash your hair, you will need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Soap is provided, but there is no soap dish or body wash. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the rooms as cool as we wanted them to be. The deck area is in the shade, and the dock that goes into the water, which is in the sun most of the day, is very small. If sitting or lying in the sun is your thing, you will have to go to a beach. If you are looking for a 5 star resort, this is not it. However, it is a very reasonably priced bungalow option with lots of privacy. Watching the fish, swimming, and snorkeling without leaving the property is a definite plus! We had a blast here!

This property was amazing!! The pictures don’t do it justice. We had the best vacation ever in Bora Bora and will hopefully go back soon. The hosts were great and provided us with all the information we needed before we arrived and the place is perfect for a couple or a family of 4. It was just my fiancée and I and we had lots of space. The place was clean. You will need a car to help you get around the island.

These bungalows are not part of a resort, so if you are looking for a resort style vacation, this is not for you. These bungalows are located on the north end of the island and most activities are located on the south end so a car is required. Some excursion companies will pick you up tho (by car or boat). The porch is perfect for enjoying dinner and the sunset. This bungalow is equipped with a kitchen and a washer (no dryer). You can snorkel and swim right off the porch area. Kayak available as well. The caretaker was very helpful in providing a rental car (at a much lower cost than Avis) and local cell phone for use around the island.

Great stay in Bungalow 2

Bungalow 2 is a 2 bedroom bungalow on the north end of the main island across the water from the airport. Richard (owner/host) and Nir (property manager) were both excellent to work with and offer great recommendations for places to eat, tours, etc. Nir was so nice and very knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. He is a pleasure to talk to and got us a discount on an awesome family-run snorkeling tour where we snorkeled with reef fish, black tip sharks and stingrays, eagle rays, manta rays, and lemon sharks. They even picked us up at the bungalow. He can also help you arrange a rental car, which you'll need. The bungalow is private, spacious, and well equipped. It's clean, comfortable, and looks just like the pictures. We loved the covered outdoor deck and easy access to the water with snorkeling right off the dock. The main island is relatively small so it's easy to get anywhere on the island in a 1/2 hour or less. We loved having the overwater bungalow experience at a fraction of the resort prices - having money to dine out, do a tour and enjoy a day pass at a nice resort. Also, the food on the main island is much more affordable with great options. Be sure to go to Matira beach - a long, beautiful, walkable beach on the south end of the island with great sunsets, good snorkeling, beautiful turquoise water, and several good food options. This was our first trip to Bora Bora and we loved it. Such a beautiful place with warm, friendly people. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Nice bungalow, needs some TLC

This bungalow is exactly as listed and the owners are very good with communication. The location is good for privacy but you only get sun in the afternoon on the small dock. The overall feel was great but it could do with a few upgrades such as new mattress and sheets. We stayed 8 days and could have used a change of sheets and newer towels. Bora Bora is beautiful and this was a good way to get an OWB without paying resort prices.

Fabulous Property

We had such a magical stay at the over water bungalow. Nir was a wonderful resource and helped us book lots of activities. It was so fun being picked up by an outrigger right from our deck.
