You live completely alone, 5 km from Bor and near Värnamo, in a house close to nature. The cottage and the garden have an interesting and unique history as the Swedish artist Sten Dunérs has drawn inspiration from the place for his works. Drömmens as the place is called was once a well-known garden and several books have been published about this garden.You have 400 m (as the crow flies) to Rammsjön where you can fish for perch without a fishing license.The cottage is for 4 people and upstairs there is 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 large walk-through room with 2 single beds. Up here there is also a sink with running hot and cold water. Downstairs has a large living room in country style and an old-fashioned kitchen. There is a TV (1,2,4 and the knowledge channel) and radio in the house. Associated annex with double bed. The cottage has direct electricity and you have access to 2 fans if it gets hot. Bathroom with toilet and shower is then in the annex. There is also 1 bedroom with a double bed and a living room.In the very large garden there are several seating areas such as a gazebo, pavilion and arbor. In addition, a leaf hut that is usually popular as it has such a nice view of the Småland landscape. On the plot there is a sandbox, swing and a rock crevice that children usually like to play in. For older children and adults there are kubb, croquet clubs and a badminton court in grass. There is also a meadow where nightshade, maidenhair fern, midsummer flowers and meadowsweet grow. In addition to blueberries and raspberries, the forest also grows mushrooms such as chanterelles, funnel chanterelles, thorn mushrooms and Karl-Johan. Here you can also catch a glimpse of moose and deer.Things to see and do in Värnamo and the surrounding areaThe nearest shop is in Bor 4 km. There are several bathing lakes around, the nearest is Solgården 5.7 km at Lake Hindsen, then you have Lake Furen in both Hyltan and Smålands Hawaii. Also try Älgarydssjön in Älgaryd, which has quite warm bathing water. Rusarebo is a beautiful nature reserve by Lake Hindsen. There is rich flora and several orchids here. At Rydaholms Värdshus you can have lunch and visit Småland's car, music and toy museum. Högakull nature reserve outside Sjuhult is a fantastic excursion destination with beautiful views of Lake Rymmen and great flora. Ohsabanan in Ohs runs steam and glass trains in the summer. Värnamo is 17 km away. Here you can have lunch at Vandalorum, an art museum, and stroll around the center. Not far away is Store Mosse if you want to go hiking or why not experience a day at High Chaparall with the children. Alvesta and Växjö are within reach if you want more shopping and restaurants.
