  • The Starfish is located downtown in the heart of beautiful Boothbay Harbor.

    This charming rental has one Queen size bed, and a queen sized futon in living room. Additionally it has Internet, DirecTV, and a fully stocked kitchen and front loader washer/dryer. This apartment has been completely renovated in 2016 and is bright and very comfortable. NON-SMOKING UNIT & BUILDING.

    The location is right in the heart of the Harbor just steps away from shopping, restaurants and the waterfront activities. It is on the second floor and has views of the harbor from the bedroom & full views of the quant golden triangle which is exquisitely lit up in the evening and in the heart ❤️ of town.

    Our very quant beautiful harbor offers many activities including kayaking, paddle boarding, whale watching excursions, daily harbor tours, daily sunset tour, trolley rides, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and The Gardens A Glow (seasonally) many preserves for hiking, LOTS of Antiquing and many fantastic restaurants and shopping, most just step out the door!!

    We also can be found in the Boothbay Harbor Mart & Country Store!

    Boothbay Harbor Mart & Country Store is centrally located if you need a great cup of organic fresh brewed coffee, a breakfast or lunch snack, a cold Beer or a bottle of Wine, Spirits even a cooler to hold it all in. For those who forget or just like to pack light, we also have toothbrushes, sunscreen, dramamine, and many toiletries/remedies and necessities.

The unit was a great place to stay for a couple. It was right downtown in the middle of all the shops and restaurants which was very nice. The unit had everything you would need for a few nights stay and it was very comfortable and clean.

Location, location, location! Patty and Mark provide a great little place for not a lot of money, right on the main street in town. You can step out the door and you are right in the middle of everything in the downtown area. Walking distance to shopping(starting at the door), boat trips/ tours(100yards), restaurants galore, coffee shops and it is in the same building as the local market with pretty much anything you need on your trip. This is a small place, but know that going into it and it is just what you need to see Boothbay Harbor and surrounding areas on a budget! Thanks Patty and Mark!

We came to celebrate our 47th anniversary and this cute little apartment complete with harbor view, was just right for our stay in Boothbay. Everything you need is provided by the hosts Patty and Mark. Which were easy to work with. There are a few nice shops and plenty of restaurants to eat if you don’t feel like cooking. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Outstanding stay at a most charming property right in the heart of Boothbay Harbor with beautiful harbor views. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Many shops and restaurants within a short walk run by owners that are genuinely friendly.

Cozy in town bright studio!

Lovely light filled studio right in town with harbor views. Gracious hosts who provided a late check out to accommodate a work meeting. Wonderful stay!

Fantastic location in Boothbay

The apartment was great - light and clean and met all of our needs. What set this stay apart was the location right in the heart of town and the helpfulness of the owner who gave us with great local advice. Wonderful trip and hope to come back again.

Patty's place is a true gem. The location can't be beat, it's beautiful, and Patty is so helpful and kind. A find in Boothbay Harbor! We'd happily stay again!

The owners were very friendly and approachable. The location was in the center of everything. The recommendations Patty gave were spot on. If it’s available book it!!!

Great Location and Helpful Property Manager

Great detailed communication with Patty the property manager from initial booking to checkout. Property is in great location on Boothbay harbor and is very clean. Patty has a great little shop next door.

Loved it!

Cute, clean rental for us and our 2 little pups. The host and hostess were readily available if needed (which they weren't :)) and offered some great suggestions for the area. The rental is right on the harbor, local to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Repeat Visit! Does not disappoint!

Best little place to stay to enjoy the Boothbay area - stayed a few years ago and had been waiting to come back - Small but so comfortable and can’t beat the location! Patty has it decorated so cute! Loved all the beach accents. So awesome that it’s pet friendly too so my little Poppy could enjoy it too! Hope to visit again sometime!

Weekend getaway

Quick get away. The location was perfect walking distance to everything. Only thing that we noticed was the bed creaked loudly every time you moved but it was comfortable.

The apartment was very cute, well maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen utensils were fully stocked. Laundry facilities are a very nice touch. Patty is very sweet and willing to provide you with information and tips about the area to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. My wife and I would definitely stay there again.

Charming "Hallmark" like location

Staying right in the heart of the charming harbor town of Boothbay was like being in a Hallmark movie! Our hosts were wonderful. Instantly answered any questions. We walked right out our door to shopping ,restaurants and lighthouse and wildlife boat excursion. We had a rental car to spend one of our days at Acadia National Park. The views were stunning.

Easy check in! Super friendly. Answered all of our questions. Loved this super cute place. Would love to come back. You just can't get a better location right in the middle of down town. Highly recommend. And the price is right.

Location Location Location

Truly in the heart of the city and a walk to all the town hot spots. As this was our first trip to the east coast we learned that real estate is a premium, so be prepared to pay for parking (anywhere), apt stairs are narrow and shower is standing room only. Those are simple facts, but nothing that deters us from highly recommending this property. Patty and Mark are wonderful hosts and we can't wait to return!

Great location owned by nice people

Crazy good location. Steep narow stairs. Heating was hard to use with no air. Very nice kitchen for cooking meals. Comes with all you need. Including spices from others before you. But you just will not find a better location.

Check in with Expedia was smooth and Pattie was very responsive. However, when we arrived the directed check in parking and unloading was terrible! In a non-parking zone at the bend of a VERY narrow road. There was no free parking and directed to park in a municipal hourly pay lot at from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. This was NOT disclosed on the property details, and I would not have booked here. Parking in Boothbay is very tight and limited so this is a big problem. Note, the municipal parking is free 8:00 pm to 8:00 am. After this confusion, Pattie told me she had "just signed a contract a parking lot" and directed me to a lot at the edge of town behind an abandoned building. I did not feel comfortable parking there overnight so parked in the Municipal lot. As for the room, it is clean and centrally located in the heart of town. The stairs are steep, narrow, and treacherous. An elderly or mobility challenged person would not be able to negotiate them. It was nice have a washer and dryer available, though. The queen bed was very creaky and not comfortable. The shower was impossibly tiny, and the counters were only a foot deep. The futon was very hard. It would be difficult for more than 2 people to share this room and bed. We could hear every move the people upstairs made - very creaky. Although the room was "cute" and it was a great home-base for easy access to town I would not stay here again nor recommend it. We were very disappointed overall.
