"Nice place!"

"Great views from the room, near many coastal hiking trails, near Point Arena for any necessities. The room has a small refrigerator & a microwave which is a plus. I have stayed here 3 times, twice in the Keeper’s Room."

"Please maintain the dog grass area better. Cut down weeds and make a dedicated area for dogs."

"Likes: Beautiful property. Spacious comfortable room. Wet bar and fridge were a nice treat. Cozy bed. Big clean bathroom. Nice balcony with table and chairs. Complimentary coffee and tea at local cafe a plus. Dislikes: No one answered the phone when we call multiple times."

"This location should be condemned. It’s falling apart. Some of our group had rooms with no hot water. Our room had so much hot water the toilet was flushing with hot water. Bathroom was leaking and moldy. I didn’t see cockroaches inside but there were so many outside. Save your money and go camping instead."

"After we checked in we had a couple of problems with the room. 1) TV remotes did not work, had to exchange them at the front desk. 2) No ice bucket in the room, we got one from housekeeping. 3) The ice machine on the second floor did not work, had to go back down to the 1st floor. 4) The phone did not work. We have stayed there in the past with no issues. Not sure we would stay there again."

"Valerie was a great host, very welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed, and needed, the breakfast foods she provided, since it was raining when we got there and didn’t have time to go to the store. Eggs, coffee, creamer, yogurt, pastries, were all wonderful. The neighborhood is cute, with a dog park and stores near by. We visited The City of 10,000 Buddha’s, which we enjoyed very much. If you are traveling with a dog, this place is perfect."

"It was a very charming cottage, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, he made sure our dogs got along together and then gave us lots of privacy. He lives on the property, in a house, just up the hill from the cottage. There was a cute built-in desk where I spent some time writing. Lots of trails nearby for humans and dogs. A beautiful area! The natural food co-op is also a wonderful place. For those coming from the city, be aware that this is a rural area. When I arrived, the cottage was...

"If you are looking for slick and new, this might not be your style. If you're looking for retro with a stunning view, this is the place for you. Miren did everything in her power to make our stay special...the bath salts, the lovely presentation of wine and water glasses, the fluffy robes and towels...and she even provided decaf coffee K pods and logs for the fireplace. The view was incredible, and the sound of the waves was enough to make us want to spend all of our time in the room. ...

"Basic amenities provided everything we needed on our journey, nothing extravagant but functional without problems of any kind."

"Dirty, dead roaches, not sure how clean sheets were, both ice machines broken"
