The main level of the home has a full bathroom, an airy kitchen with a wood-topped island, and a dining table for six. Step up into the living room and relax in the plush leather furniture and catch your favorite TV show on the HDTV. A window air conditioning unit serves both the dining and living areas to keep you comfortable at all times, and in the cooler months, keep warm with the cozy gas stove and central heat.

Upstairs are three bedrooms. To the right of the stairs is a bedroom with a Queen bed, to the left is a bedroom with a King bed and an HDTV, and at the top is a room with two twin beds. The furniture in the twins room are antiques originally hailing from Blowing Rock's own famous Mayview Manor. There is also a full bath with a shower between the Queen and twin bedrooms. All three bedrooms have window air conditioning units.

The porch off the main level has a gas grill, a pair of cherry-stained Adirondack chairs, and a four-top patio table & chairs set, as well as the relaxing hot tub. Soak your cares away as you enjoy the sights and sounds of the peaceful valley around you. For those needing to run off excess energy, the sloped yard will be ideal, and in the evening everyone will enjoy making memories around the unique above-ground firepit made from a modified old washtub- and unlimited firewood is provided. A trail through the woods leads you onto Federal park land adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and connects to the Mountains To Sea Trail running the length of North Carolina.

This relaxing little haven is just a mile to the Aho Gap entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Blowing Rock and Boone are both about 5 minutes away. Appalachian Ski Mountain is less than 10 minutes away and for the golfers, there are several top-rated golf courses, including Boone Golf just 10 minutes away, Mountain Glen in Newland about 30 minutes away. With its convenient location to all of the High Country's best attractions, you're sure to fall in love with A Parkway Cabin!

-Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
