The Space:

The Burke Trammel Cottage offers a cozy retreat with a focus on comfort and convenience. This charming bungalow features a well-appointed bedroom and a full bathroom, ensuring a private and relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy modern amenities, including air conditioning, heating, and wireless internet, alongside thoughtful touches like a coffee maker and a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage also boasts a private entrance, a patio or balcony, and free parking on the premises, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience. Please note that the cottage is available for booking for only 150 days a year to maintain our Texas Homestead.



Guest Access:

Guests of the Burke Trammel Cottage will have exclusive access to the entire standalone bungalow, ensuring a private and comfortable stay. This includes the bedroom, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and the patio or balcony. Free parking on the premises is also available. The property's location offers easy access to downtown Bonham and the local winery, perfect for exploring the area.

The bungalow is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Bonham, offering easy access to local shops, restaurants, and the charming atmosphere of the town square. You're also just a short stroll away from a local winery, perfect for an evening of relaxation and tasting. Explore the historic district, with its unique architecture and local businesses, all within easy reach from your doorstep.



Getting Around:

Getting around from the Burke Trammel Cottage is easy. While Bonham is a small town best explored by car, you'll find convenient access to major routes. Free parking is available directly on the premises. For those arriving by air, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is approximately a 1.5-hour drive away. Consider using ride-sharing services or renting a car for the most convenient travel options. The cottage's central location also makes it easy to walk to local shops, restaurants, and the town square.



Other Things to Note:

***Please note that the Burke Trammel Cottage is part of our Homesteaded property in accordance with Chapter 11 of the Texas Property Tax Code. In order to maintain our Homestead rights under Section 11.13 (k) we only offer the carriage house for rental for a maximum of 150 days of the calendar year. Once the 150th day is booked on the site, there will be no opportunity to book any other days for that calendar year.***
