I-84 access less than 1/2 mile away, the airport - 15 min away. Rated 4.9 out of 5 The space Besides being recognized for our spotlessly clean suites, We are also providing cleaning and disinfecting supplies for our guests. We also offer a high efficiency HVAC system with a variable speed fan and an Air Scrubber. The variable speed fan constantly moves the air throughout the interior space pulling it through the return air ducts past the high efficiency air filter and the FDA Approved Air Scrubber and back into the interior space. The Air Scrubber removes contaminants, bacteria, allergens and viruses virtually sterilizing the air. Please read on to learn more about our place.
Our guest suites are available for nightly, weekly and monthly rental. Whether you are visiting for just a few nights or will be needing a longer term place to stay, we can accommodate you. If you are staying for 7 nights or more, we offer a discounted rate. The discount will be automatically calculated when you inquire or make a reservation. The base price is for up to 2 guests. There is an additional charge for 3 or 4 guests..
Please note our location and make sure our place would be a good fit: Our property is on State Street in the west end of downtown. State Street is a very busy main route into the city. The vast majority of our guests love the convenience of the location and the hustle and bustle of people and traffic coming and going. If you desire a more off the beaten path, less busy area then there are other options in the West End that might be a better fit and you should search them out.
Built in 1939, this renovated triplex consists of 3 suites. We completed a top to bottom, inside and out renovation in 2018 while maintaining many of the vintage 1930's features. This is an old style triplex so it has a few shared walls and floors or ceilings. Be aware that sounds will travel so sometimes you may hear your neighbor.
This charming suite features 1 king memory foam bed, 1 full bath, large living room with plenty of comfortable seating, queen memory foam sleeper sofa, ( made up on request), infra-red fireplace, A/C, Smart TV, Blue Ray, High speed WiFi that covers the entire property, and Direct TV. There is 635 sq. ft. of living space. This suite is cozy, its perfect for a couple, but will sleep 4 people.
The full kitchen is stocked with everything one would need to feel right at home. The cold water at the kitchen sink is filtered. The cozy nook can accommodate 4 guests or guests can choose to dine in the living room while watching a movie using our oversized TV trays.
Free 24 hour on-street parking is available on 22nd St. and surrounding neighborhood streets nearby.
Enjoy the front and back yards with shared fenced courtyard in the backyard area with covered area for outdoor enjoyment. A Gas BBQ with propane is available. Guest access Guests have access to the entire outside of the property. Spa/ Hot Tub is private. Other things to note Your suite is right above another suite. This is generally not a problem at all, but please be aware that in these older apartments noise travels between the suites and guests below you may hear you when you walk.
Please take wet or dirty shoes off when you enter. If you must wear shoes indoors, please wear soft soled shoes so that sound is minimized especially in the early morning and late evening when guests are sleeping. Thank You!
For longer term stays of 7 nights or more, clean sheets and towels will be provided on a weekly basis. Laundry facilities are available upon request. No housekeeping services are provided during your stay. The guest is expected to keep the guest suite clean. For stays of 3 weeks or longer, the cleaning fee is $250. Hosts will need access to the guest suite for routine inspection and maintenance, and unexpected repairs. We will prearrange a time that is convenient for the guest.
We love this place, the neighborhood and the location so much we decided to live in the larger unit #3 so we are here full time.
Both the front and back of the property are well lit at night.
Be aware that State Street is very busy. This is near the downtown area and State Street is a major East/West route to and from the downtown area. We live here so we can tell you that when indoors and especially in the bedrooms the traffic noise is hardly noticeable except for the occasional emergency vehicles that pass by on their missions. If you want tranquility, peace and quiet, you might consider accommodations that are in a quieter area, more off the beaten path.
