The small town of Bierde is located in the Aller-Leine Valley, on the southern edge of the Lüneburg Heath—surrounded by vast marshlands, forests, and meadows. From here, you can quickly reach many great amusement parks, set out on bike rides along the Aller or paddle trips on the river, or simply unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet and the birdsong at Haus am Holder. The vacation home is located right on the dike; from the south-facing balcony, you have a magnificent view of Lake Bierde and the marshlands with their horse pastures and stork’s nest. The house was completely renovated in 2020 with great attention to detail and now welcomes families, cyclists, paddlers, water lovers, and those seeking relaxation.

Upstairs layout


• Bedroom 1: Double bed, 2.00 x 2.00 m, including linens
• Bedroom 2: Two single beds, 0.9 x 2.00 m, including linens (the beds can be pushed together to form a double bed if needed)
• We’re happy to provide an additional crib

• Access to the spacious south-facing balcony with a view of Lake Bierder, the dike, the horse pastures, and the stork’s nest
