"First just let me say this, Lamar and Lisa are incredibly nice and helpful, they greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour. This house is beautiful, and it's huge and absolutely spotless. It was so quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around deck in the evening. Lamar has had the yard treated for mosquitoes, I can honestly say we weren't bothered by one single bug.There aren't chairs on the deck, so if that's your thing definitely brings chairs. "We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Glass House. The house came equipped with absolutely everything we needed to take our minds off of work, sink into relaxing on the river and just have a great time. "Great place to relax, beds are comfortable. Smart TVs in the rooms. We were allowed complete access to all of the property which includes ponds, a river stream, and areas around the property to sit and enjoy the scenery. Couches and chairs are also very comfortable. Soaps, lotions and other commodities are available for use. Its almost like the owners prepared for us to forget things. Fishing on the property was also fun. Overall, we completely enjoyed our stay."

Situated a little more than an hour from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, we were able to visit both cities and retreat to the quiet castle at night.
