"The hotel is going through renovation. There's a lot of construction debris. On Saturday morning construction noise started at 6:30am. I found it dishonest there's no mention of construction on the hotel booking website or third party website. Luckily the room we got has already gone through the renovation so it was clean. The breakfast was okay, stuff were friendly."

"I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). "The room was comfortable enough. There are no grab bars in the shower/bath. There are no coffee makers in the rooms. If you want coffee or decaf in your room either bring your own coffee and maker, or instant. I burned myself twice trying to carry coffee to my room. The breakfast lady is gold and the food she prepares is good."

"I have stayed a couple. It's not the nicest place in the world, but the manager is the nicest man in the world. Super friendly to all the guests he talks to. It is clean and it is in a nice convenient area. The breakfast is basic and when I came down 15 minutes after everything was put away he offered to bring everything out again for me. Of course it's not a high-end hotel so don't expect anything special."
