Would you enjoy the cozy pampered feeling of an inn but prefer the privacy, convenience and space of a home? Welcome to 'Bay Canyon View'. Our goal is to provide a relaxing stay in a beautiful environment with all the conveniences of home and more.

This beautifully remodeled coastal cutie is perfect for one or two couples (and comfortably sleeps 5 adults) who want to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing retreat. This spacious 1500 sq ft remodeled home has an open floor plan with unique tree captioned views of the the tip of north end of Bodega Bay (water is most visible from spa patio and bedroom). Bay View's decor is best described as sophisticated beach, with artwork from Sonoma Coast artists throughout the home! The home's layout allows you to visit with guests in the large updated kitchen, living/dining room, bar area, and sun room while enjoying the view of the trees surrounding the bay.

There are 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms, with queen size beds with heated mattresses. There is a spacious main bathroom with soaking tub/shower combo. private access from both bedrooms, a large granite vanity, and heated towel rack! A cozy double bed with a memory foam mattress provides additional space for an extra guest or two, and a great place to relax and enjoy the view or watch streaming movies on the 55 inch flat screen TV.

A second full bathroom, dressing area (for guests sleeping in main living area), and laundry is conveniently located off the main living space. This area also contains a large desk area with a handy electronics charging station and printer.

The 10 foot glass mosaic topped bar opens the spacious kitchen up to the 500 sq foot great room. It provides a fun place to sit and visit with the chef(s) in your group, while you enjoy a glass of Sonoma Coast wine. If you like to cook as a group this is the kitchen for you (large enough and with plenty of counter space for everyone to be cooking at the same time).

Relax in our enclosed sunroom that leads outside to the 450 square foot 2 level deck and large sunny wind-protected fully fenced yard. Here you will find patio furniture, a gas BBQ, garden with extra dining table, and newer Sundance spa with patio.

“Bay View” has a rare peek- a-boo view of the tip of the north end of Bodega Bay (through a valley captioned with redwoods and cypress trees) and the road to Bodega Head. The view changes constantly with boats heading out to sea during the day and returning home at night. In the evening the view is softly illuminated by fishing boats and local inns. On a clear night the sky is filled with stars to enjoy while relaxing in the spa.

Centrally located, the 'Bay View House' sits on ¼ acre at the north end of the town of Bodega Bay. Located close to the Ocean, the Bay, and Town our location provides convenience while still providing privacy and solitude. We are less than 5 minutes from almost everything Bodega Bay has to offer (ocean beaches, trails, restaurants & shops, wine tasting, horseback riding, charter boats, the bay, and Bodega Head for whale watching! There are many things to explore both on foot and by car. Sonoma County opened Chanselor Ranch, the 378 acre reserve with amazing coastal views open to the public ( located 1/2 mile from our house). Whether you spend the day exploring or just relaxing, you are sure to enjoy our cozy coastal retreat.

Guests using Instant Book must speak to the owner within 24 hours to provide all guest names and contract specifics. Guests with pets or small children please be sure to read house rules & provide info for prior approval. We always respond promptly (usually within an hour). Please insure you have included the correct number of guests (both adults and children).

Pet rules: Maximum 2 Dogs. $75 per dog per stay. pet rules:
Never allowed on any furniture (including beds).
Must take dogs with you when leaving the home.
Must be on flea and tick prevention at least one week prior to arrival. No Barkers!

All guests to be at the house during your stay must be listed at the time of booking.
Anyone not listed on the contract is not allowed at the house. Having additional guests or pets without prior approval can result in forfeiture of your entire damage deposit. Exceptions only with prior approval. This helps us maintain a quiet neighborhood and compliance with county rules.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. THIS INCLUDES OUTDOOR AREAS!
