"It was a strange smell between our room and the restaurant area where we had to pass through our bags! The staff are fairly helpful. The location was lovely, but unfortunately the shower in our room didn’t work very well."

"The room was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious! For some reason, many of the places we stayed (including this one) did not provide conditioner. Not a huge deal, but thought I’d note for future guests. It is a cute small town and convenient to hiking destinations. Also note there is not central air and the windows do not open more than a few inches, so on hot days, the room gets very stuffy. Not the fault of the hotel, though!"

"We generally stay at premium hotels but tried this place based on reviews. Drove for 2 hours from EDI to this property. The owner/manager greeted us and asked about dinner plans. Very kind person who guided us about next morning’s breakfast. Being vegetarian, they prepared exhaustive menu based on our dietary preference. Very good hospitality and also imparted valuable information about silver sands beach and ferry to Isle of Sky. Overall an excellent experience!!"
