"From the lobby to our room itself, the hotel was very clean and the inside had all been updated. We got a King Bed Room (Rm14) and it was very spacious with a large closet, a mini-fridge, and a microwave in it. The bathroom was on the small side but very clean and met our needs. The bathroom had a standing shower only, no bath-tub. The pool yard is small but convenient and clean. Michael is the new owner and he was very helpful and nice to talk with. "This is a charming hotel right near the boardwalk and beach. We had an end room with a balcony. The balcony was comfortable and has a nice view of the ocean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was provided daily and kept up with the room nicely. The parking is great!!! The pool area is a little hidden oasis. "The property is old with fair maintenance. The towels were worn. Very thin and tiny soap bars were provided, no shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast was few pieces of bread, small waffle pieces, some dry cereal, milk and coffee and maybe orange juice - difficult to tell. Lots of caulking around tub and toilet. Old appearing floor and bed coverings. Worst motel ever stayed at."

The shower drain did not work properly, causing water to collect instead of draining. The bed was also noisy and made sounds whenever I moved. "We stayed for one night in this hotel but were kind of skeptical due to some negative reviews. But when we got into the room it was found out quite decent for a budget stay. The beds were good and clean, so did the bathroom (liked the big tub) and most importantly the space was huge. "My 2 day stay was good. Everything was close by. But the bed was very uncomfortable, the fridge smell liked fish. They did come clean it but the scent came back. The pillows were terrible but they did give us 2 new better fluffier ones. Other than that it was good."

"Only two towels and wash clothes the whole weekend. Asked for clean and the guy on duty couldn’t find clean and made me take dirty ones back. Tub was clogged, bathroom exhaust fan broken bathroom got soaked every shower! No sockets to plug anything into besides one in room that worked and one in bathroom which ended up getting phone wet when I realized exhaust fan didn’t work. Do not stay there! Bed felt like I was sleeping on box spring I’m very skinny and have bruised hips on my sleeping side....

"Muffin was the only choice for breakfast beside coffee/Tea/Apple juice. Confirmation stated that check in at 4 pm and check out at noon but someone knocked at the door and stated that we need to check out at 11:00 am , reason was unknown . However according to the confirmation paper we checked out at 12:00 pm. Front desk staffs were nice."
