"Host entered our locked room while we were gone to draw the shades and turn our tv off. Invasion of privacy. Also, beware if you come here in the winter, host is a penny pincher and won’t keep the heat on in the house past 10pm. We were absolutely freezing and had to leave the accommodation because it was far too cold for our children. He refused to turn it on. "

We paid full price for an upgrade to a superior room but was then asked to pay a further £30 for breakfast even though all the superior room are breakfast included on the website. We didn’t complain but just pointed it out that if we’d booked a superior room initially, we would’ve had our breakfast included in the price. "Breakfast was amazing, the hostess was very polite and friendly. The tall guy in the bar was lovely and very polite. The housekeeping lady was very friendly."

"It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"
