"Clean room with high ceilings which made the room look big. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and you can order food and drinks right at the pool. Close to shops and restaurants. Free coffee and hot water in the lobby. Pool server was always checking to see if we wanted anything. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. It’s a few blocks to walk to the beach but parking by the beach is free after Labour Day. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"The kiwi is fantastic, so cute and clean. That being said, the pool and hot tub area were pretty sad. The entire pool liner was lifting and the hot tub was dirty and cold. We weren’t there for the pool so this had no impact on us and we would definitely stay again"

"We had a lovely stay for one night at the Ashwood. Room was spacious and clean. AC unit and mini fridge worked very well. The bed was comfy, and it was dog friendly - so it ticked all the boxes for us. The owners were fantastic, super friendly - allowed us to sit on the patio area after the restaurant had closed, which was great for having some evening drinks and playing some cards. Very short drive into Bayfield, or about a 30mins walk. We would definitely stay again!"
