The Rocky River Retreat in Blue Ridge Georgia
Two BR. and a Bath under the main cabin floor. The place was immaculate! The host were wonderful. The location couldn't be better. The bed was comfortable and thank God for the recliner. I have a bad back. There is River just about in the back yard. Breakfast and lunch are within walking distance in a mom and pop store that sells a variety of things. Beautiful Water Falls and a short drive to beautiful mountain views. Don't miss downtown Blue Ridge. Great shops, friendly people, a tourist train ride to a couple other towns and a variety of food establishments. If your planning to fish on your own, make sure you get a license. Georgia Cops Don't Play. The bottom line is: we had a great time and will return for a longer visit at the same place, THE ROCKY RIVER RETREAT.

Great stay, amazing location
We had an amazing time. The cabin was immaculately clean and well furnished. The location is great, you can sit on the porch and listen to the river. Great hosts, check in was super easy.

Quick trip to Blue Ridge
This property is a great location for ease of access to everything in Aska and the surrounding areas. Plenty of hikes within 15-20 minute drive, the general store is literally a walk down the steps. Scott was phenomenal and very accommodating. If you are looking for a convenient place to rest while in Aska, this is a great option. It is off a main road so you hear a little of that occassionally, but it is minimal. The river is literally down the steps accross the street, so you get the enjoyment of that as well. Great option at the price!

Great Place to Stay w/ Fishing Nearby
Very cozy place to relax in for a weekend trip. The taccoa river is a 3 minute walk down the hill and we caught some rainbow trout in there. Thanks for the stay!

Nice, clean place. Good location.
This is a nice clean place. Hot tub was a good addition. At the bottom of the stairs that lead to the road there is a great breakfast place inside a general store. They serve a great country breakfast for a good price.

Homey. Cute. Clean can’t beat the location and price point May I recommend d the old iron bridge cafe, walks along the river across the bridge and swinging bridge for fun

Great Location!!
The location you couldn’t beat, right next to the river and far enough outside of town but only a 15 min drive. The owner was very responsive to all questions, comments, or concerns. Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect stay
The cabin is as extremely clean and is in a great location. I was traveling with my mother and one son, but there would have been plenty of room for my husband and my three other boys. The driveway is steep, but we were able to access it in a vehicle that is not 4WD. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The river is directly across a low-traffic street and could be easily accessed on foot or by car. There is a wonderful cafe and general store right below and a river side restaurant, both within a minute of the cabin. The kitchenette was fine for our needs and I would definitely recommend this cabin to others, especially for the price

Cozy lodgings with everything we needed.
Immaculately clean, everything works, adorable lodging! Even without a full kitchen we were easily able to make bacon and eggs for breakfast with the electric skillet and the grill. Communication was exceptionally prompt and helpful. I saw someone complain about the steps down to the road and river. There are a bunch, but they have a very small rise, making it an easy walk. Beautiful firepit area and the hot tub was lovely. It was in the 20's overnight, but the heaters kept us cozy and warm. I hope to stay again some day.

Private Get Away
Property was easy to find. We had a moment of confusion on the entrance to the downstairs suite. The hot tub was relaxing at the end of the day and a soak in the claw foot tub started the day off just right. Cute decor. Quiet and peaceful, allowing us to sleep later than usual. We enjoyed the stay, immensely.

Cozy cabin by the river
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy mountain cabin by the Taccoa R. We were able to contact our host immediately with any questions. Alan was also very informative and genuinely cares for his guests and their stay. The cabin was clean and had all the conveniences and very well decorated. We could hear the Taccoa R. from the front porch and was only a short walk away. We highly recommend visiting this cozy cabin.

Home away from home
For the location the price was fair. it was a very nice place to spend some time away. it was very clean and smelled great. A nice recliner and the hot tub was nice as well. I would highly recommend this place.

Perfect Spot
This space is perfect for a family who is on the go in Aska. There is so much to do in the area and this place fit the bill for allowing us a comfortable place to rest. The hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day.

Backpacking Trip
2nd time staying in the cabin and I would highly recommend it. Sure, it has to fit your needs but for us we didn’t need a kitchen or tons of space. The cabin is beautifully decorated with many amenities. The hot tube worked miracles on my tired muscles from backpacking. Great Resturant down the hill.

Cute Cabin
Overall a good experience! The cabin is cute and close to downtown Blue Ridge. Alan was very responsive to any questions. I just wish they had disclosed it was connected to a primary residence with access directly into the VRBO.

Great Stay
We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Secluded from other properties, but it was still close to town. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub as it got chilly in the evening.

Perfect Stay
This property is perfect location. The kitchen and outdoor grill worked out fine for us, but someone with a family might find the lack of counter space, small sink and a place to sit and eat different…. We will definitely be back. Alan was a great host and in contact to answer any questions we had. We had a storm come through one afternoon and it was perfect to sit out under the covered porch so peaceful.

Super cute and quaint cabin
Everything about the cabin is quaint and adorable. It was well maintained and well marked, and communication was very easy. Downtown Blue Ridge is about 15 minutes away, and the Toccoa River laid right underneath. It really was a great stay

READ THE DESCRIPTION
The stay itself was okay. This property is listed as a 3BR cabin, but if you read the full description it says that there's only 2 BR. It's only the lower level that you're renting, not the full cabin. The main level is a private residence. The listing along with the Ocotillo lead you to believe that there's a private pier over the river and there is not. You go down the 94 steps, cross the highway and see a private pier that IS NOT for this property and has no trespassing signs everywhere. Make sure and pay attention that there's no stove and there's only a mini fridge. Other than feeling like I was catfished... it was good. I would have rated it 5 stars had perception been actuality. The place was clean and quiet.
