Georgia Riverstone Lodge is your dream Georgia cabin (along with our sister Lodge "Rocky River" (VRBO #701904)) waiting for a memorable vacation in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains near the quaint town of Ellijay. Our upscale cabin is located in the beautiful gated river community of Coosawattee River Resort situated directly on the river where we provide you canoes, kayaks, and tubes for your river adventure!

The cabin is outfitted with a large outdoor seven person hot tub, a game room with pool, foosball, and ping pong, and canoes and tubes for use. There are three spacious bedrooms that easily sleep 20 people, each with their own bathroom. Come and relax, youā€™ll never have to leave with all the amenities provided! Find out for yourself what our many loyal repeat guests have discovered about our North Georgia Mountain first-class lodge style cabin, maintained with loving care, that provide the ultimate relaxing environment for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life.

Come spend a weekend or longer in our cabin and feel the cares of everyday life slip away. Riverstone Lodge is located on the Coosawattee River and has a tree lined view. You can hear the sound of the rushing water echoing up from the river. Ellijay, Ga. is an easy, scenic 60-minute drive north of Atlanta by freeway and four-lane parkway.

Our cabin is available for rental year-round. Each season has its own unique beauty: dogwoods, mountain laurel, and rhododendron in the spring; the deep blue river with white accents, dark greens of the trees in the summer; a vast sea of hardwoods that are on fire with color in the fall; and, if you're lucky, a white blanket of snow in the winter. The Coosawattee River Resort community is packed with wildlife. Deer, turkey, ducks, and countless other forms of wildlife are destined to be observed on a long walk or drive through the mountain complex. We stayed here for a full week, this is such an amazing property with direct river access! We were a large group and had plenty of space to spread out. I spoke with Ian the owner of the property on our way up with great tips for our stay, you can tell he truly hopes you enjoy his property and wants you to have a great time! I highly recommend staying and will definitely choose this property again!

This property was beyond beautiful. It had 3 floors that accommodated my family of 16. We had the pleasure of going tubing, create a bonfire and enjoyed the sounds of the river and geese. We plan on returning in the near future.

We had an amazing stay! We had a big group and we were fully accommodated the entire time. The access to the river was amazing. We had a great time utilizing the entirety of the property. The place was clean when we showed up. The owners communicated everything clearly the entrie time and were super nice. The town was not far away either with it being 20 minutes away roughly. Definitely recommend this cabin for a good time disconnecting with a small or big group.

Our family had an unforgettable stay at the Riverstone cabin over the Holidays! Excellent wifi, which kept everyone connected, and there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, including games, a pool table, table tennis, and a foosball table. The spacious living area, cozy fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds made it easy for us to relax and have fun. Even though it was too cold to enjoy tubing on the river, we had a great time around the outdoor firepit, playing horseshoes, and even shooting some hoops on the basketball court! We also took the opportunity to visit a few stores and enjoy a nice dinner in downtown Ellijay. Sarah and Ian are fantastic hosts. Their efforts in decorating the cabin for the holidays made our trip even more memorable. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better place to stay and we look forward to returning again!

Amazed at what a wonderful place. And what a wonderful view It had so many things to do that. The boys were always busy doing something hanging out by the fire playing basketball or ping pong or huddled up inside watching some playoff football.It was just a great trip all around. They had an amazing time. I enjoyed cooking for them and just watching my son. Enjoy time with his friends. Knowing he's about to get married and take a new step in his life. It was a wonderful place to come, and we're truly thankful for the opportunity to be able to stay in your home

The cabin was just as the pictures depicted! Enough room for our big family! The kitchen was stocked with everything, you just need to bring the food! We loved the fire pit, everyone enjoyed eating sā€™mores and listening to the River. We even got to see deer playing in the river!

We booked this cabin for our annual retreat, and it couldnā€™t have been more accommodating! We chose it mainly for its location and excellent reviews, and it truly was perfect for our group of 11. The hosts, Sarah and Ian, were wonderful - providing clear check-in and check-out instructions and detailed directions before arrival. Although we didnā€™t run into any issues, they were just a phone call away, ready to help if needed. The cabin sits right on the river within a safe, beautiful gated community. We saw a tons of wildlife on the drive in and drive out. It was convenient to have grocery stores and a variety of restaurants (both local and chain) within a short 5-7 mile drive. The cabin had everything we needed, from cookware to linens and towels. For entertainment, there was a pool table, ping pong, board games, horseshoes, and even a basketball court! We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and ample outdoor seating. The sound of the river was incredibly relaxing. Though cell service was limited, the wifi was excellent. With all of us using phones, tablets, and/or laptops, we could still stream events on the TV - with zero interruptions or problems. This retreat gave our group a much-needed break from daily life, allowing us to reconnect and enjoy each other's company. Huge thanks to Sarah and Ian for sharing their beautiful cabin. We highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning!

Once again we spent a wonderful weekend at Rocky River. It's the perfect place for a group gathering. There's ample space for all to spread out, and also enjoy meal times together. This year the weather wasn't so great but we didn't mind hanging around the well appointed cabin. Sarah and Ian are the perfect hosts and will do everything they can to help with anything that might come up. We keep on coming back every year because it's a perfect fit for our group. I highly recommend Riverstone (and for an even larger group Rocky River and Riverstone) for your next family gathering.

The cabin was very clean & there was plenty of space for our group of 10 people ranging from ages 5-75. The kids enjoyed the basketball goal, badminton net, hot tub and fire pit for s'mores . Good access to the get in the river & appreciated having the tubes, kayaks, & canoes available for our use. Was surprised at how long it took to access the cabin from the main road/gate. We booked a cabin at the river to avoid mountainous roads, so it was disappointing that the drive in the neighborhood had a lot of hills and sharp curves, and that the driveway to the cabin very steep. But the sound of the water rushing in the river was very pleasant once you arrived.

Painting a mental picture of this property is impossible, and the pictures on the listing truly do not do this location justice! Woke up to deer in the yard every morning while sipping my coffee on the swing. The activities are endless, but kayaking was a favorite for our group! Everything we needed was on the property from tubes, to kayaks, to canoes! You have never felt more at peace than when you are kayaking next to deer and the sounds of the river. We were able to easily cook for our group of 13 and enjoy movie nights together! When it rained the kids enjoyed ping pong, foosball, and pool, also in the home! We WILL most definitely be returning next year!

We stayed with a group of our students from church for a summer retreat. There was plenty of space and the property was clean. The river was fantastic as well! Good places to swim right behind the cabin. We also brought tubes and did the 3.5 hour tube trip back to the cabin. The driveway is VERY steep. We had a problem scraping the back of our church van. In the end it was fine. We parked at the bottom of the hill. We would stay again!
