Mtn View Cabin 5 min to Downtown Blue Ridge w/Hot Tub and Firepit, Pet Friendly!

PERFECT FOR LARGE OR MULTIPLE FAMILIES! Nestled on a hillside overlooking beautiful downtown Blue Ridge, our cabin offers long range, panoramic views of the picturesque North Georgia mountains. Our spacious cabin offers three levels of fully screened decks to entertain BUG FREE! Located in the Aska adventure area, and only a short three mile drive to all the dining and shopping options in downtown Blue Ridge. The road leading to the cabin is paved so no need for an SUV!

Our cabin offers a handicap friendly ramp for all visitors.

The location is fantastic—right off Aska Road: 3 miles from downtown Blue Ridge with its great restaurants and quaint shops; 3 miles from Lake Blue Ridge (fishing and pontoon boats), 5 miles from the Toccoa River (rafting, tubing and kayaking); 3 to 5 miles from trailheads of the Aska Adventure Trails hiking/mountain biking trail system.

At the end of the day (or all day, if you prefer!), enjoy the roomy comfort of Black Bear Ridge cabin. Nestled in a private, peaceful neighborhood, this charming, rustic, 3-level cabin ensures cozy, relaxing nights. *Note, however, that this is not a secluded cabin. There are neighbors on either side not pictured in the seasonal images.
The cabin is fully furnished and features a spacious, open floor plan with 1 King master suite on the upper level, 2 bedrooms on the main level (1 King Bed and 1 Queen bed) and 2 bedrooms on the lower level ( 1 King bed and daybed together, and one Queen with a cot in the closet). Plus, the screened-in decks can double as sleeping porches on cool summer nights. There are 3 full bathrooms (one on each level) and a game room on the lower level. We provide an ample supply of towels, kitchen/dining utensils and pots and pans, so no need to bring your own.

ENTERTAINMENT & GAME-LOVERS’ DREAM!

Entertainment amenities include Internet WiFi and DISH satellite with 220+ channels, plus a Wii U system for the kids and DVD movies for the whole family. The lower-level game room features a pool table, foosball, board games and darts! Parents can relax in peace upstairs, knowing the kids are well-entertained on the gaming level.

Upon check-out, please complete the following:
Please leave dirty dishes running in the dishwasher.
Please do not strip the beds as housekeeping prefers to do that.
All trash must be bagged and put in the receptacle bins in front of the cabin. (Housekeeping will charge me extra when there is an excessive mess left behind, including full fridges of food.)
All doors secured upon exit.
Any damage or excessive cleaning will result in full or partial deposit penalties.

Kristy was SUPER helpful with any question we had. 10 guests fit nicely in the rooms. The amenities were well kept and a HUGE bonus to our stay! We had a superb time and had 0 complaints!

Each fall is a girls getaway weekend. We have rented many cabins over the years. This is the 1st one that we want to rent again. The location is fantastic! It is only a short drive to town. The cabin has many thoughtful touches and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes. The porches are screened in with comfortable furniture. What really sold us was that all of the beds are comfortable. So rare in a rental. Plus the host was very responsive. We highly recommend this cabin for your next stay in Blue Ridge.

We thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit out on the back deck and take in the mountain views. We also enjoyed playing family games in the basement and soaking in the hot tub after some great hikes on nearby trails. Grill was clean and had plenty of propane for us to grill out for my birthday. Everything was close and convenient and the wireless LTE and Wi-Fi coverage was great when we needed to connect with family, friends and to a little work. Kristy was a great host and was always responsive and proactive with communications.

We had an excellent time in this cabin! 5-8 minute drive to get downtown. Rooms were spacious and there were things in the cabin to keep us occupied (darts, pool table, hot tub, etc.). There were neighbors immediately to the left and a little further on the right so this is not a totally isolated cabin. Just be aware that it is a one-lane mountain road to get up to the cabin, so if you're staying during the winter, icy conditions might affect your going up or down. We stayed for a week in the summer, and we had a great time! If future trips bring us to Blue Ridge, we would have no problems staying in this cabin again.

My code was not sent to the property and I left the host phone number at home so it took about an hour to get the door unlocked. My granddaughter who is more savvy than I with phones was able to get the Host and she provided us with the "super secret" code and after that every thing went very well. Super nice and super smooth. My family really loved their stay.

Our family had a lovely stay in Blue Ridge at Kristy’s! The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay plus some extras that were unexpected and needed (a rollaway bed!). The screened in porches were a must because of the last time we stayed (mosquitos and so many bugs!) and we got to enjoy so much time outside looking at the amazing view. Having three king bed options was great for our family, it felt like we each had our own floor and space plus the kids had their own rooms! Honestly it had everything we could need besides food :) so memorable! Kristy communicated with me from start to finish of the booking/staying process. It was always quick and friendly! Also gave some great recommendations for crib rentals. The cabin is close to a lot! Plus we did the drive to Ellijay and Helen - great central location to a lot of you want to drive but many options if you want to stay close. The drive up is a one lane gravel drive, easy as long as the person driving is comfortable with a potential back up if another car is coming the other direction - this happened twice our entire stay. Plus, the neighbors are SO friendly! They also gave us additional recommendations for places to eat and check out. The community of Blue Ridge is so friendly, we will be back and hopefully able to book the same place because it was perfect!

Loved it!

My family and I stayed for a short time but enjoyed every minute. The cabin is very comfortable, has everything you need and then some. Beautiful views from the balconies. Lots of activities to do there and nearby. Hope to stay for longer in the future.

Comfortable, clean and close to everything!

Our group of 7 absolutely loved this home. We all had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The cabin was nearly spotless upon entry, had well stocked kitchen and beautiful views, especially the sunsets! My teenagers enjoyed staying downstairs and close to the games. The home is also so close to town and anything you would need but still feels very secluded and private. The hosts were also very quick to respond to any questions we had! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the cabin for our friend’s bachelorette! We wanted a cozy, nice weekend in and it did not disappoint! There was plenty of space for all us. The beds were super comfortable! We loved sitting outside in the screened porch talking and enjoying the views. The house was well stocked as well! We all would recommend it to anyone traveling to Blue Ridge.

Epic Family Trip

This was the perfect property for our family group with ages varying from sixteen to seventy. The varying levels offered space for everyone to do separate or joint activities and permitted large family meals. Two grills helped with meal prep and the fire table and fire pit provided that “campfire” atmosphere in the evenings. We enjoyed hiking to various waterfalls nearby, the quaint town of Blue Ridge and nearby Helen as well.

Great quiet getaway

This property is great! We literally stayed on the screened in porches for hours a day. Short drives to downtown Blue Ridge, Lake Blue Ridge, and hiking trails. The host sent so many goodies for the kids. It was a nice touch!

Lovely cabin close to the town

This is my second time staying at this property. I love how close it is to town. The cabin is beautiful with great views of the mountains. The host is extremely communicative and I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to visit Blue Ridge. Only watch out is be careful getting up to the cabin as it is one-way traffic!
