Situated on Green Mountain just south of Blue Ridge, Lake Vista Lodge is a relaxing getaway where you can escape from the everyday world, enjoy the company of your family and friends, and marvel at the peaceful, 50-mile views of Lake Blue Ridge and mountains as far as the eye can see.

Featuring a wildlife and nature theme, Lake Vista Lodge's rooms are rustic yet modern with hardwood floors and tongue and groove walls and ceiling throughout, making this cabin a warm and welcoming place. The beds, dining room table and chairs were all handmade by a local furniture maker.

Lake Vista Lodge brings out the best of each season. In the fall, the oaks, maples, birch, and poplar trees are ablaze with yellow, orange and red leaves. In the winter, relish peace and tranquility and perhaps a gentle snowfall while nestled in front of the fireplace. In springtime, witness renewal as trees awaken and flowers bloom. Escape the heat of summer in the city and delight in cool breezes and the occasional spectacular lightning storm as it moves across the sky. And don't be surprised to see deer, turkeys, and maybe even a black bear wandering in the area.

Outdoor enthusiasts will bask in days filled with hiking, rafting, canoeing, swimming, boating, and more. If you're seeking a bit of rest and relaxation, there is nothing better than simply swinging or rocking on the porch and soaking up the beautiful vista of Lake Blue Ridge, the mountains surrounding it, and on clear days, the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina beyond. On rainy days, kids will have fun playing Xbox 360 Kinect with games, or choosing amongst plenty of books and board games. Grownups can play billiards or indulge in a dip in the hot tub from the comfort of the covered porch.

Make dinners at home or head to the vibrant town of Blue Ridge for numerous dining and entertainment options. Later, listen to the crackle of a warm fire in the fire pit while gazing up at thousands of stars and the Milky Way. Finally, four charming bedrooms await you every night, each continuing the wildlife and nature theme in their own unique ways.
