Lake Hideaway 2! The 2nd log cabin escape with year-round mountain and lake views from a massive deck engulfed in a beautiful forest of trees! Fishing, canoeing, hiking and more! Beautiful professionally designed rustic classic interior with plush towels, quality linens, luxurious furnishings, beautiful antiques and equipped with the latest modern technology! Glorious serenity! ***PLEASE INQUIRE FOR LARGER GROUP ACCOMMODATIONS - 2 CABINS NEXT TO EACH OTHER (see my other listing; Lake Hideaway)

The space:

2 bed, 2 bath, and a grand open loft with 2 Log single beds and beautiful lounge/gaming area - foosball table, game table, 50” TV, xbox360 game console and board games. Luxurious King master bedroom with extensive private balcony - rocking chairs and chair hammock for relaxation. Beautiful stone countertops throughout the cabin and an oversized rustic stone fireplace in the great room. Wireless Internet. 55” (over fireplace) and two 32" smart HDTV’s in bedrooms with surround sound, bluetooth speakers. Gorgeous dining space overlooking a rustic natural earth landscape and open to the large kitchen and living space. Large covered porch and expansive open deck with oversized firepit. Firewood provided. Lake access and private dock. Boat available for fishing.

Fantastic stay!

This cabin truly exceeded expectations. It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, making for a truly relaxing retreat. The views were absolutely stunning.A major highlight was the lake access and boating opportunities– it made my teenage son's his trip! We also loved the peace and quiet of being so isolated and surrounded by the forest. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.I can't wait to return to this wonderful cabin, especially in the fall to experience the changing leaves!

Lake Hideaway in Cherry Log

We loved this cozy cabin in the mountains. It was so convenient for our shopping trip to Blue Ridge. It was nice and clean and comfortable. The owner is the nicest person and so accommodating and kind. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful retreat

We felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. We especially appreciated the cider from the owner. The place looks just as it does in the photos. It was a great place for peace and quite. We especially loved the deck and the bonfire pit. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful cabin in Cherry Log, GA

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful cabin and wished it could have been much longer! The cabin has great outdoor spaces and is very comfortable and cozy! Every amenity you could think of was provided in this cabin! Very thoughtful of the owner. Close to Blue Ridge and great restaurants. Def check out the Pink Pig!

Private & beautiful

Private, secluded, in a peaceful and beautiful place. Not easy to get to, very narrow road...however so worth the effort. Cabin is roomy and has everything. Lots of attention to detail by the owners. We loved it.

Hidden Lake

The cabin was peaceful, cozy, and clean. It was a relaxing place to get away for a few days. Sheena was wonderful too! I got a little turned around with the directions and she talked to me on the phone until I made it to the cabin safely. I hope to go again in the fall.

Lake Retreat

The cabin was very clean, well stocked, nice view of the lake. There were lots of spiders, but in return few mosquitoes. We stayed in many cabins… the road to this cabin was just as tricky as the rest in Cherry Log. Would highly recommend

Sit Back and Relax

Serious relaxation! We spent the first two days just sitting on the porch, watching the trees and water, and listening to nature. There are also things to do in both Blue Ridge and Ellijay for fun and nearby day trips. Amicalola Falls State Park was beautiful. Many thanks to our owner/host. Definitely recommend!

Fabulous Mountain Retreat

This is the perfect rustic cozy cabin! Beautifully decorated and outfitted with everything you could need! We had plenty of room for our family of 5 and made good use out of the outdoor space. The view from the cabin is spectacular! The drive up the mountain to the cabin was a bit nerve wracking but the directions that the host provided were spot on. There are so many things to do in the surrounding area as well which makes this north Georgia cabin an excellent vacation spot.

Cherry Log mountain house

The property is just as described . We had a very relaxing , peaceful vacation at this home . The property is convenient to both Blue Ridge and Elijay . We had great communication the whole time with the owner and the peach cider she left us was an awesome and thoughtful welcome gift . The cabin was also immaculately clean and we had no problem with checking into the home . We would love to be lucky enough to stay at this location again in the future.

Unfortunately, our experience was far from positive. Our interaction with the host was extremely frustrating. Be aware that the rental agreement is multiple pages long and packed with details in which you won’t receive until after booking so if you are uncomfortable signing you are simply out of luck. Make sure you read every word before signing. In our opinion, the host seemed more focused on keeping the money than providing good customer service, which left a very negative impression.I would not recommend this property based on our experience.

Beautiful

Wonderful trip. Beautiful views. The drive there was intimidating(drop offs and sharp turns)The stairs outside are no joke! They are steep and a bit scary but the bottom is nice. We did have a lot of spiders and webs. I know you are in the woods so we did expect some but it as quite a bit. Overall, it was relaxing,great views,great communication with owner and quite enjoyable.

Great Venue

Beautiful property. I would suggest arriving in the daytime for the first time up the hill, because the roads are a little narrow. No problems once you get used to them though!

Beautiful Cabin and Location

The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. My husband and son enjoyed fishing on the lake from the dock and took the boat out several times as well. It’s close to hiking and both nearby towns. Like other reviewers have said try to arrive during the day because the road is a little intimidating the first time you travel it. It is a one lane road so one way in and one way out and you have to yield to traffic so that can be a bit nerve wracking when you don’t drive on hilly/curvy roads all the time. All in all it was a fun get away and we would highly recommend the location.
