Enjoy nature at its finest while relaxing in this three story secluded, pet-friendly, true log cabin with all the modern amenities. Huge fire pit area & spacious deck with a picnic table. The Getaway is the perfect mountain retreat that meets the needs of all guests with its warm & friendly cabin lodge decor, huge hot tub on one of the two screened porches, wide screen TVs in Rec Rm, Fam Rm, Master BR, DVD player, board games & outdoor basketball hoop. Other amenities include a 8' pool table, wood burning stove, gas log fireplace & free WIFi. The private downstairs Game Room gives the young adults the privacy to play the night away, listen to music, watch TV or relax in the hot tub while enjoying the sounds of nature.

Antler Ridge Getaway : The cabin is approximately 2,100 ft. in elevation near the top of Laurel Ridge Mountain in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The road up the mountain (about 1 mile to the cabin) is gravel with some steep parts. Standard vehicles can drive up the mountain, but it can be easier with 4WD.
The bedrooms are spacious with queen beds on the main level & upper open loft, and a king bed in the upstairs master. One full bath is located on the main level across from the queen bedroom and the other on the upper level between the master bedroom and the loft area. The Rec Room offers a trundle bed (2 twins) with memory foam mattresses. The Getaway is on a no hunt/ no shoot mountain so wildlife abounds. The deer and wild turkey love to stop and watch as guests relax by the fire pit or on the decks.

The cabin is equipped with safety features, including a deadbolt smart lock with keypad for easy, contactless check-in. Security cameras offer coverage of the front door and outdoor patio/parking areas.

The Getaway is on 2.5 plus acres, secluded and is not in a gated community, nor do you have close neighbors, yet you do not feel totally isolated. The Benton MacKaye Trail, which connects to the Appalachian Trail, is also a short walk from the cabin. A mountain stream is at the foot of our mountain and run along the Benton MacKaye Trail. Downtown Blue Ridge, with its wonderful shops and antiquing, is about 6 miles away and features Blue Grass bands performing on the square throughout the year, carriage rides and a Farmers’ Market on Saturdays. Downtown Ellijay is about 10 minutes away.

Perfect for this family of four plus our medium-sized dog. Beds were excellent, beautiful sunsets, and 2 screened-in porches as separate spaces. Loved the wood stove and firepit!

Had a lovely stay in this clean, well appointed and overall charming cabin. The views were amazing, the beds comfortable, the hot tub quite lovely after hiking and riding horses! Communication with our host, Sarah was a breeze. Overall, had a wonderful time, as did our pups.

Everything was great, minus the rain. Only thing is-- DO NOT ARRIVE AT NIGHT. it is pitch black . The GPS took us on the right instead of the left.... dangerous dangerous road. Our CAR barely made, it and we thought we were going to fall off the side of the road thatvis not paved , nor does it have railingsm scary experience. We wer scared to leace u til the next day, but it was rainingm thankfully, we found the shorter route qhich was the LEFT side. Much better.

View was great, bed was comfortable, and the road wasn’t as bad as other reviews might make it seem. To be fair, the weather had been dry and we were in a 4Runner, but it was much more than manageable. However, the cabin could use a lot of TLC. Less than half of the bulbs on the string lights outside were functional, the igniter on the gas grill was broken so the grill had to be ignited using a lighter (which resulted in some singed hairs on my hand), the wi-fi was pretty spotty and weak, and the downstairs toilet didn’t flush properly. There was also a dead mouse downstairs in the game room. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the cabin, so it’s not like our trip was ruined, but this location definitely didn’t add to our experience in any way.

Sarah was an excellent host. She was very accommodating and prompt with any questions or concerns that I had prior to, and during our stay. Her cabin was very clean and smelled of fresh wood. The hot tub was an added bonus, and something we were looking forward to. It was nice to enjoy that at the end of the day and also first thing in the morning while enjoying the outdoor view. It’s even more beautiful in person than in the photos. My family and I really enjoyed our time there. We haven’t been able to vacation as often as we’d like and this was the perfect fall setting to catch up and make lasting, heartfelt memories. Definitely don’t hesitate to book your stay here. It’s very peaceful and has plenty of space for up to 8 people.

This lovely cabin is in a great location for exploring the area. The view from the porch is amazing. Kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of pots, a Keurig, lots of dishes. It is nicely furnished. We loved the hot tub and the pool table for nice relaxing evenings with the family. The road up to the cabin is a little harrowing the first time you go up.

Four adults and two dogs stayed at the cabin for a long weekend. Our stay was good but not quite what I was expecting from the reviews. The kitchen was very small with almost no counter space. The bedrooms upstairs were large, but hard to navigate with very slanted ceilings (including the bathroom, not good for someone my height). It was fairly clean, but my dog kept finding orange peels under the furniture and two used (very smelly) yogurt containers. Not great when there are rodents in the area. The main feedback is the listing is not very clear on the road access. The road is in terrible condition and there were many areas where the drive was almost straight up. We had two small SUVs (Rav4s) and barely made it to the cabin. It would be very difficult for a small car to make it. Luckily our plan was to mostly stay at the cabin, but if we had planned to go into town multiple times or get an Uber for a winery I would have been very disappointed. We did not use the hot tub.

Weekend getaway

100% as advertised. The view is beyond amazing. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The outside spaces are fantastic. Screened in porch and hot tub were bonuses. We will be repeat customers. The host was very communcative, check in/out process was easy.

Great cabin

Great cabin, not huge but enough space for a cozy weekend stay. Patio views of sunset phenomenal. Hot tub did not get hotter than 99F and portable heater did not work but otherwise well maintained and stocked. Would recommend!

great stay

we had a great stay at the Cozy Log Cabin. The cabin itself had everything we needed - we enjoyed the view and the hot tub. The drive up the mountain to the cabin was nerve-racking, but worth it!
