The staff and location were fabulous. The rooms were a bit tired and it would have been nice to have been able to turn off or at least dim the balcony lights. The Venetian blinds did not close fully to keep the light out.

Main Street Motel
The motel is very well located next to restaurants and shops and not far from the main trail heads on the northeast side of Acadia National Park. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Definitely worth it.

Things we liked: very friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and public areas. Full kitchen and fridge in the suite with split bedroom and living area. Bed was comfortable. Why it didn't get 5 stars: the walls are very thin and you can easily hear neighbors. The kitchen was basically just the stove ...

Hanscom's Motel and Cottages
The only complaint was our unit had lukewarm shower with not much spray force. No attendant at these cottages. Had a quiet comfortable evening.
