Wonderful staff, very thoughtful. Since it was March and there were few guests they volunteered that we could have access to our room up until our 6 PM ferry. Wow!

Excellent place to ring in the New Year
The stay was exceptional! The facility is clean, well furnished, the fixtures are top quality and the food was excellent. Chris, the manager could not have been more helpful. We definitely would come again and were made to feel so welcome and comfortable.

Our favorite location on Block We've been going for decades & have stayed almost everywhere! Love ve that it's east walking distance to Old & New Harbors. Newer property but fits in w the "vibe" of other inns in area. Staff lovely (especially Sasha & Andrika and both morning chefs fun to talk to & helpful, and " made to order" breakfasts a relaxing treat- well spaced tables indoors & out on patio. Peaceful & quiet and immaculate, spacious room.

The Inn was perfect for our needs. Close enough to walk to the Springhouse or down into town! Breakfast and happy hour included! Staff was great, room was clean! And we got a great price on Expedia!

Great location to "downtown" area. No one present upon arrival to check our bags prior to check in time. Beyond that the room and property was great!

The front porch has the most beautiful view of the water. In addition, the staff that made breakfast were kind and knowledgeable (and breakfast was delicious :)).

The rooms were very clean and super cute, easy walk to the main strip. Biggest complaint is that the bed was incredibly hard and I couldn't sleep either night we were there.

Our check-in was delayed two hours. Given the cost of the room, this was disappointing. However, the room itself, once we were in it, was lovely!

The room was amazingly clean and comfortable. Everyday we came back to a cleaned room and bathroom with bed made and fresh towels. Personalized breakfast in the morning is nice. For the cost, it would be nice to have an event such as the Wine and Nibbles that is offered to guests staying at 1661 each evening.

The Inn was clean and well appointed. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast service was great. There was a lot of door slamming at all hours, and our room was close to an exit, but we attributed that to the other guests behavior and not in the control of the inn. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend it to others.

We liked the location and the cleanliness, but nothing worked in the room! Satellite tv card was not valid, so no tv, and the alarm clock radio also did not work. Our biggest complaint was the other folks staying around us. They were loud and obnoxious all night. Going to BI off-season shouldn’t require ear plugs to sleep, but this trip did. Also didn’t appreciate the staff making comments after we walked away thinking we were out of range. Not very professional.

I'd stay again
Just steps away from Spring House, the Inn is quieter and more modern. The included breakfasts were excellent as was the service. The farm animals next door were an added plus to our views. I'd stay again.

Will be back!
Great location - close to main strip yet quiet. Nice balcony and modern accommodations. Great spot to walk to Spring House for sunrise and sunset but not stay near the crowds.

Fantastic location and great views!! Service and staff were top notch as well. The Inn is located on a beautiful property with endless views of the Atlantic. We would definitely stay again!

Sad day at the Block
Paid a lot for two nights. Room phone was useless. Called front desk for some more towels. Recording said that they were closed. Called main Hotel and received a recording to leave a message and someone would get back to me tomorrow. I've stayed places for much less and received more amenities and perks than this place. The Inn was clean and the grounds well maintained. Another drawback was breakfast. No meats offered with your order. No bacon,ham or sausage. Really hoped for more for the price.

luxury on block island
Amazing inn. Luxurious. Deck had great views of ocean. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to downtown and many restaurants.

Short walk to the old harbor. Nice views of the ocean. Close to exotic animal farm. Carter, the Chef for breakfast was excellent. Breakfast was great, he was very professional and personable. Kevin was also very helpful checking in, storing bags etc.

This is an outstanding place to relax. The only bad thing is that there is no way on or off the island except by a boat and the ride can be very very rough. So be sure to check and avoid stormy or windy weather if you don’t want to get seasick. Or at least take medication to avoid motion sickness before boarding the boat to Block Island. Otherwise this inn is amazing and I highly recommend staying at this inn. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast was delicious and made by a chief named Carter who makes eggs to your liking. Around 5:30 pm there is wine and cheese which was not only relaxing and tasty but was also an opportunity to meet other interesting guests. Kevin who works there is attentive and helpful. He is always available and went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was perfect. Thank you Kevin. We chose to book this inn because of the great ratings. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to go again.

A wonderful Inn
The Inn at Spring house was amazing. Not only were the views breath taking but the breakfast was 5 star. and the Wine and cheese at 5:30-6:00 was terrific and so unexpected .The grounds are beautiful and the location was perfect. Not to mention our room was stunning and new with air conditioning! I could go on but you have to experience it for yourself1 Will definitely go back.

Almost perfect.
Almost perfect. Usually the pictures are staged, these were not, the room looked exactly like the pictures, we even got the exact same room as the pictures. It was a beautiful room. If there was a knock about the room it was the pillows, too flimsy, had to roll them, but the bed was nice. Breakfast service was very good, with eggs-to-order and select pastries. They also offered a wine and cheese hour. Dinner at the Spring House was excellent though a little more expensive than out in town, but it is rated as one of the best on the island. Block Island is a hidden gem and the Inn at Spring House was a diamond amongst it.
