"Staff courteous and helpful. The Beach House is run down, even more than when I visited in 2025. It’s part of the charm. However, I had three guest rooms, and one of them a king suite, the bathroom ceiling was falling apart there was mold on the ceiling as well. Light bulbs were burnt out as well. Couch was stained, worn, and not comfortable. Additionally there were never any beach towels available when e asked for them.
It’s a wonderful location, but I think they I’ll stay elsewhere next...
"The air conditioner in our room was extremely loud, and there was a moisture problem as well. There appeared to be a dehumidifier in our room, but it didn’t work. Also, we ran out of hot water one evening."
"My stay here was very terrible. The room was the tiniest room I ever stayed at for $536. The security was very rude. We were not allowed to sit in the lounge area. We didn’t get any help from housekeeping and we were treated very rudely, I will never stay here again or recommend for anyone to stay here"
"We had a wonderful stay and had everything we needed. Location was wonderful, everything was spotless, bed was very comfy, bathroom was great, and we didn't know it, but we got a surprise porch off our room facing the harbor. Kai, the owner, was in touch and made our stay even more comfortable offering us a car rental when the rest of town was sold out. I recommend the Inn at Old Harbor highly and will absolutely be staying again,"
