"1661 Inn is a really amazing place.Year after year we see the same kind faces. It makes us feel at home.The summer interns are fun, too. The property is beautifully kept, the ocean views are just wonderful. The Farm is a delight and I love visiting the animals. Having said all that, the people of 1661 are what truely make this place special, from the owner Rita and her family to the front desk and especially the breakfast staff. "Great location, just steps from the ferry. We loved their soaps so much that we found them online and have ordered them for our home. The full breakfast, which is included in the price of your room, is very good. There’s also a wine and snack hour each afternoon which was very nice."
"Close to the ferry and Ballards. Old hotel in need of upgrades. No elevators. To get the AC cooler, I had to call the main office, which controls the temperature. No hooks to hang items in room. Overpriced.
Shops are nearby, there is a bar and outdoor dining. We had an exquisite dinner on the back deck near the garden and live music."
"Super small attic room, it was nice but part of a hotel down the street not in the main building. Nice pool and all but didn’t reach our expectations for the price we paid."
"Overall, the stay was fantastic. Great staff very clean room. Just wish the pool was a little cleaner and warmer. I’m not sure they consistently turned the heater on."
