"For an older motel and having stayed in many that were very disappointing, the Happy Salmon Motel was a breath of fresh air… from the lovely woman who greeted us at check-in to entering our very clean bedroom, bathroom and kitchen area. "I just stayed here for 5 nights with my daughter and our dog. It is a very clean and well kept property, especially since it is pet friendly. Great location, and only minutes away from the beaches of Blind Bay. You do hear footsteps/noise through the ceiling in the bedroom, but It wasn’t a real issue for us however it’s something to note. My only suggestion would be a slightly bigger TV and possibly a BBQ grill to use. Overall a positive experience. "
