"stayed several times, and I truly believe they kept increasing quality little by little"

"I’ve stayed already 4 times. facilities are great, no denying. when they work… Pool was closed for 3 out of the 4 nights i was staying; when asking when it would reopen I was politely told to go and find it out myself (like staff is not interested to know and inform guests?!), and finally when remaining planet conscious I asked for room service every 2 days (middle of my stay) and they missed that too. dont know what happened this time, but this is how I felt leaving the hotel"

"Ideal for brief stopover. Good clear access instructions received"

"A slightly dated and tired hotel. Rooms were spacious and bar staff helpful."

"Described as a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. Very confusing accommodation with bathroom and toilet access or down the hall. Greeting was interesting but beds were okay for sleeping and mainly quiet. Pictures don't represent the rooms and expectations from advertising not met. Would not stay again even for one night."

"The lady who checked in was so lovely, even took us to our room. Every member of staff asks if you need help finding anything and direct you to were you need to be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast included in the room stay was 10/10."

"Room was clean but very cold couldn’t get the underfloor heating to work Breakfast was disappointing plate was oily eggs were overcooked beans were cold as if the were straight out of the tin as was the mushroom and tomato sausages ,bacon ,black pudding and hash brown were lukewarm and didn’t come with toast or fried bread"

"Gastronomia muito boa."

"Great hotel. Good location, nice staff, very good modern room. "

"Great location and really nice, spacious and clean rooms. This was a great place to stay for exploring Newcastle and also very comfortable and cozy. Staff are excellent too, and the free morning coffee and croissant are a nice perk!"

"Every time I travel back north I stay at this place as it's friendly, has what you need and more-aka the restaurant next door and nearby to bigger shops too"

"Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was okay - the full English I felt was a bit small for what I paid but other hot options looked pretty good - would consider that next time and the continental breakfast was good. Staff were lovely."
