"Excellent property that offers total seclusion and a chance to rejuvenate. Cell service is pretty much non-existent ( at least on the Verizon network). That being said the property has an excellent WiFi signal. Cottage offers all the amenities and the kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking essentials."

"I would stay here again! That says a lot! The views and getting to pet the horses was an incredible experience. The AC was new! I saw maybe 2 ants. The kitchen had plenty of pots & pans to cook for our group of 12. There are 6 bedrooms. The two queen beds in a large space, is in the basement plus two bedrooms. Everyone slept well. "We had a fantastic stay! We need a large place for the family while we visited Concord In Athens. This cabin offers lots of room. The kitched is nicely stocked. The decor has lots of quilts and country pieces. Very clean inside. We got to see turkeys and one very large owl at night. The host Lee Ann is a great communicator. We will certainly stay again when we come up to Pipestem. "

"We had a wonderful time at this “cabin.” The outdoor space is just unbelievable- so much space to spread out and enjoy sun or shade. The host has thought of so many extras… And special welcome baskets were a nice touch! Beds were very comfy, and the bathrooms were spotless. It was helpful to have a truck to load up and drive down to the river… It was a very difficult walk for the average person. "The cabin is quite large, large enough for 3 children, ages 11, 9 and 4 and 4 adults so that everyone had their own space! The lake proximity is perfect and the highlight of the weekend was kayaking. There were 4 but we could have used one more so we could all go out together. There were life jackets! The youngest loved the hot tub and it was clean! The kitchen was well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. We would return again! "
