Beautiful Views

Just what we needed. I’ve told my daughter (10) and son (17) about the stars at night in the Hill Country. Was finally able to have them see them…..all of them! The sunsets here are magical and the fire pit was perfect for smores. Everything you could possibly need is here waiting for you. Will definitely book again! Thank you for allowing my family to stay at your beautiful property.

Secluded Cabin

We spent a, very rainy, 4th of July weekend here with our son and a friend of ours. The location was exactly what we were looking for, secluded with a great view, even if the weather didn't cooperate.The cabin was nice, the kitchen well stocked and it was generally pretty clean. We did have a problem with ants in a few places, but that can be common with a lot of rain in the area.There was a bit of a musty smell, especially upstairs, which might be caused by the fact that there are no AC vents upstairs. They did have a portable unit, which helped a bit, but it was still pretty stuffy. Also, one of the bedrooms upstairs is actually in a common area without a door.We had a lot of automated texts and emails from the hosts before and throughout our stay, but we got no reply when we mentioned the ants after check out.Also, we had a bit of trouble finding the place: we were actually going the right way, but there was a fork in the road and a blind curve that made us wonder. A bit if extra description of the driveway after the gate would have been helpful.

Spectacular

Needed a few days to recharge and was blown away. The views are simply amazing and the drive down the gravel road to get to the property was one of the main highlights for us. Upon arrival everything from the outside to the inside was very clean and tidy. You can tell the owners take pride in hosting their guest. If you need a few days from the hustle and bustle this is the place to go. Communication with the host was impeccable,(Thank you Teresa) Cant wait to get back here for an even longer stay.

Great views in the Hill Country

We enjoyed our stay at this Hill Country house. The owners were very nice, frequently checking on us. The house was very clean with comfortable living room, as described online but with room for improvement regarding a few things (limited silverware and glassware, low water pressure, upstairs A/C insufficient on hot days). The location is very peaceful and the views are absolutely amazing. Totally worth it!

Gorgeous View

The view is spectacular here with plenty of land to explore. We enjoyed watching the sunset, looking at the stars and enjoying nature. San Antonio is only an hour away and lots to do in the area.

Central Location

We make an annual trip to the Texas Hill Wineries. Lonesome Dove was a great location for our favorite places. We enjoy the quiet, remote places to stay and this was right on target. Remote enough with a one hour drive max to the best wineries. The view was spectacular and the home was clean and comfortable.

Exceptional accommodations and spectacular night sky

This property is classic Hill Country, with gorgeous views, spacious privacy, and a beautiful, comfortable house. Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Blanco and Johnson City are short rides away. The owner was great to work with, very responsive and helpful, even as they dealt with their own family emergency. We had everything we needed for a long weekend of astrophotography: a timelapse of breathtaking starry night skies and the April 8 2024 total eclipse. Thank you again Teresa for your excellent support! We hope to come back later in the summer when the Milky Way galactic center is high in the night sky.

Hill Top Hidaway

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed walking and hiking the 40acs. Lots of fossils and even found an artifact. If you're an outdoors enthusiast you'll love this place. Pet friendly at a reasonable price. Definitley coming back.

Wonderful hill country hideway

Great get-a-way property! You feel like you're at the end of the world, but you're close enough to everything in hill country. Never ending view. Millions of stars us city folk have never seen. Loved the house and decks. My family, brother from Massachusetts, and daughters dogs had wonderful time. Owner very responsive.

Our time in this hill country oasis was phenomenal. The owner, Teresa, ensured the property was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. You will not regret renting this property. The porch view alone is worth the fee!

My two kiddos and my brother stayed at this property over Fathers Day weekend. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the hill country views are unreal. This would be a great house for families and/or couples.

Loved our stay/awesome star gazing

This property is wonderful. We really enjoy sitting on the front porch. We walked a trail with our dogs. We made s'mores on the fire pit overlooking the canyon. The beds were comfortable. The star gazing was out of this world. We saw satellites moving across the sky, the big dipper so bright and many other constellations. Lots of shooting stars. We will definitely return to stay here this Fall or Winter.
