Great spot for crowds

Our family of 38 stayed here during Thanksgiving. A great spot for gatherings and big crowds but the cabins can get cold when it goes down below freezing.

Sugarboo Farms

My now husband and I recently stayed at Sugarboo Farms where we held our wedding ceremony. Our stay was absolutely amazing and the wedding was beautiful! Jose and Wetherly were very helpful in answering any of our questions before our stay and during. Beautiful venue and accommodations!

LOVED!

This was such a great place to host a staff retreat. Our team had a blast. We went in September and it was great weather. We brought kids and they loved feeding the animals and getting chicken eggs in the morning!

Birthday trip for Mlm

We stayed at Sugarboo Farms for my mom’s 80th birthday. The farm is wonderful and has everything you could want and the Blairsville/Blue Ridge area is beautiful. I would gladly recommend it to friends.

A-Mazing Spring Break

We had a large group that ranges from 3-68 and I can not explain how much fun we had. Hiking, swimming, eating outdoors, playing soccer, walking dogs, and laying in the hammocks. This place was the best and we highly recommend it.

September Wedding at Sugarboo Farms

The most perfect location, venue, setting…. EVERYTHING. You will not regret staying here. My husband and I had our wedding here and it was perfect. Every single thing was just perfect. We are already planning on coming back! Truly the most beautiful plot of land I’ve seen!

Great Thanksgiving get away for large family

We had our 40 year old Family Thanksgiving Holiday at Sugarboo Farms and everyone had a great time. The grounds are lovely and the location is perfect. We had a few issues with the kitchen since we cook our Thanksgiving meal for 25 on location. Oven was a little off temp but overall we had a great time, and our meals turned out delicious.

My husband and I had the literal best times of our lives at our wedding here. Just beyond what we even thought. The weather was perfect, the property is just amazing. What an incredible place! Only tidbit I have is - don't use Waze to get there! We had some pretty wild stories from people who tried to take some cut through that Waze takes you down... So use Google maps to navigate and tell your guests that! This property is magic!

Farm Friendly For all Ages!

We had a large group ages ranging if from 2years-68year olds. A lot of walking, but the golf cart rental helped with those who couldn’t hike up the stairs/hill or even a joy ride to say hello to the animals. The garden was beautiful and produced many delicious veggies that our group thoroughly enjoyed as well as visiting the chickens and seeing if they left any fresh eggs. We also enjoyed the privacy the farm provided without any interruptions of media. Would definitely recommend and go back again!

Great group getaway

Our group of 8 families (38 total) had a wonderful time at the farm. It was a little chillier than we hoped but still didn’t dampen the weekend. The outdoors areas were as described and the property was beautiful. Everyon adjusted to the shower situation well and the groundskeeper Jose was helpful. One down note was halfway thru the stay the farmhouse septic tank musta have gotten full and the smell from the drain field hung outside . it wasn’t overwhelming but enough to be noticed. Despite that , highly recommend

Amazing Retreat

Anniversary reunion success

We rented this property in early October for 41 people to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. The property was everything promised and better. We had great weather all weekend, but it got pretty cold at night- 30s and 40s- everyone was comfortable because the space heaters heat the cabins up nicely. I stayed in a cabin myself and I was almost too warm one night with the heater on! The kitchen and outdoor grill area was well suited to our large group, and the kids were absolutely delighted by the animals. The property was large, and we used the golf carts to get around so it was easy. The bathrooms at the main house are large and beautiful, while the camping bathrooms down by the cabins were clean and comfortable for all who stayed. The views were gorgeous and we had so much fun playing in the pool, hot tub, and dancing in the pavilion. Everyone loved the property and stated how we should make the trip an annual thing. Thank you for a beautiful , memorable weekend, Sugarboo Farms!

Perfect spot for work retreat

The pictures did not disappoint...this was the perfect setting to unplug and reconnect with our work teams. We have not gathered together since Covid began and many folks had not met in person. Lots to do right on the property and other options in the local area. The team left with big smiles on their faces!

Great wedding venue or family reunion spot.

Beautiful property with lots of amenities. The staff works with you to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They are great at communicating! If you do book just be aware that the ice maker is extremely slow and you’ll probably have to buy ice.

Togetherness.

It was a good experience. The kids really enjoyed the freedom. The only problem we encountered were the snakes. Under this type setting you can expect some but it seemed to be an unusual amount of them and the majority were poison. Several fell out of trees. So care needs to be taken by anyone renting. I'm not saying this to critize this is a farm and we did expect to see them. Also aware you can't control them nor the type they are. We were more cautious and kept a good eye. Thank you for the experience of farm life. Great memories made for our family.

Beautiful property!

We brought a group of about 25 adults out to the farm for a leadership retreat. It was a beautiful property with all the necessary accommodations. We particularly enjoyed the farmhouse and the outdoor patio areas! The manager on site was very helpful and we hope we could use the property again in the future!

Amazing views great space

Our 1st church retreat and couldn’t have gone any smoother. The owners were really easy to reach and accommodating and the farm hand Jose was incredibly came by each day to see if we needed anything and was just an overall great help for things to do, showing us around the property it was an awesome time. Well equipped and well laid out for a big group. Must book and can’t wait to book again

Very special place

Loved it here! The garden and farm were precious. The farm animals were fun to be up close and personal with. The kids loved the hammocks, outdoor movie projector, fire pit for s’mores and the bunk room for sleepovers. The whole site is just beautifully maintained and peaceful. We didn’t understand from the online review that it is built for glamping. So we piled into the main house since we are not country folk and don’t like bugs. The cabins unavoidably I’m sure had some bug issues. That is my only negative. The overall experience was extremely special and we would all go back. My daughter cried to not leave💛
