The house was filthy. The deck was filled with cobwebs, Pineneedles and broken decking. The bathrooms were filthy. The master bathroom shower was full of mold, mushrooms growing out of the woodwork. "The hosts were very responsive, the house was just as advertised, and everything worked out great. The Graeagle town amenities are close, and lots of ways to get into nature quickly, including a trail that starts just a few blocks from the house."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville."
