"What a perfect little quaint, cozy and quiet mountain side cabin with a fire pit! Ideal for some quiet time with all needed amenities. Communication with owner was fast and there was no problem with checking in and for a few questions we had when staying there. I took my father on a 2 day fishing trip with Striper Xtreme,TN with Bobby (amazing guide if you love fishing). The cabin here was conveniently located very near to Lake Cherokee. "The house is in a nice area, very homey, super comfy couches, the kitchen is well stocked, hosts are very responsive although we did not need them for anything. I am a senior citizen amd was traveling with older teen grandchildren. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again."

"We needed to get away and it was still too cold to camp (for me, lol!). This retreat was just perfect - comfy and welcoming and private. Easy access to the nearby town but really feels away from it all. We can't wait to get back!"

"The driveway in is a little intimidating at first but it leads to a great private setting and a very comfortable cabin. The sounds of the creek are with you all the time creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The wildlife was fun to watch and the property is very easy to walk around in. Overall, it's a very pleasant place to get away and unplug for a while."

"This was our second visit to Idle Hour Farm. It was fun exploring the property. Used the fireplace on cool crisp mornings we are early risers. I was formerly raised in Tennessee. "This is a great house in a great neighborhood. Our group was in town for a family wedding. I stayed there with my spouse, sister, brother-in-law, and their 17-month-old twins. The house was clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, and was located perfectly for our needs. I can't recommend this house enough."

"We had an ok time at the silo! We only got to enjoy the hot tub night 1 of 3 and even then it wasn't very warm. The temp stayed about 70°. Our first night while in the hot tub a semi drove through just a couple feet away and then backed into one of the barns. We thought we would have had a little more privacy but the neighbors right behind you seem to always be outside and there's always somebody in the barns during the day at the beginning of the driveway.
