"My daughter and I found the perfect place to get some R&R before she headed off for college. My father passed away the week before, and it was absolutely perfect timing in the most exquisite location in Coastal Georgia. The Thicket Cottage is more than we ever dreamed it would be. Our souls found peace and quiet as we rocked on the front porch or relaxed in the swing daybed overlooking the exquisite marsh. "This is a great property to stay at. It is as advertised and immaculately clean. The amenities here are numerous and the bed was comfortable. The hosts have gone above and beyond to accommodate guests. We loved it and would definitely stay again. "

"This was our third time starting at this house. We love it, just like before. Fishing all day, playing games at night (tons available at the house) or watching funny videos on YouTube in the cozy living room. I drew the blinds up in the living room, bedrooms and the kitchen, because all have the beautiful marsh and the river out back. Love the kitchen at this house too. Loaded up on blue crabs, Bait shops just minutes away. Perfect vacation!"

"The property was in a lovely spot on the marsh and was open and comfortable. There was plenty of space for 3 couples and we really appreciated the willingness of the host to let us use bicycles, kayaks, and binoculars. We enjoyed exploring the nature in the area and opted to go to the beach within an easy drive since our weekend turned out to be so warm. A lovely stay!"

"The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for a large family. The dock is the best part of the property. We had fun looking for crabs and fishing "

"What a great house. It was super secluded and quiet. The house was pristine and had all of the essentials, including toiletries. You could literally just show up with clothes and groceries and never leave.There are plenty of great dining and beverage options within 10 minutes and even more within 30. We made several trips to Darien, Brunswick and Savannah.The pool and yard were the best attraction though, such a great space.We also enjoyed the basketball video game.Really not much more you could...

"Besides some fireworks for the 4th this place was very relaxing. All the birdsongs, crickets and frogs around the property made us feel like we were much further outside of town but with good restaurants and shops just a mile or 2 away. Great location for daytrips to St Simons or Jekyll Island. We would definitely like to stay again sometime but will bring more kitchen supplies."
