"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and quiet. Very unique and pleasant surroundings, being right on the creek. We enjoyed hearing the creek at night as we slept, and drinking morning coffee over looking the trout pond. The place is very clean and easy to stay at. The owner is friendly and helpful. Feeding the fish is pretty fun! There are many beautiful places near here to visit and enjoy. We will definitely come back if we are in the area. "

"Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well. "This home is incredible and immaculate. When we arrived, we were shocked to see it was fully stocked with bottled waters, a mini snack tower, indoor and outdoor games, kayaks and anything else you can think of for the beach. The kitchen was also fully stocked with coffee supplies, pots and pans, glassware, dishware as well as spices other cooking supplies. The views were amazing and so was the beach. "Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine.
