The River House

Welcome to The River House, a unique A-frame home nestled among mature trees in a peaceful waterfront setting. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, afternoons outside on the river trail or backyard, and evenings around the fire pit under the stars. Conveniently located near downtown Bismarck with direct access to the River Trail system this is the perfect place to unwind and explore. Whether you are traveling with your family, friends or a couple's getaway we want your stay to be memorable.

The space
Inside, you'll find warm wood ceilings, a cozy loft, comfortable gathering spaces, and plenty of room to relax. The home features three bedrooms, a loft sleeping area, two full bathrooms, and an oversized soaking tub that's perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Outside, you will find two decks to relax, unwind and reconnect with friends and family. Gather around an open fire pit in the back yard or relax on the back deck with the gas fireplace while you take in beautiful sunsets. The mature trees and wildlife create the perfect ambiance to let go of the days stress and enjoy a peaceful evening. Deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, and other wildlife are often seen in the area, adding to the property's natural charm while you listen to the frog's croaking and birds singing.

Step out the front door and connect directly to the scenic river trail system, perfect for walking, running, or biking along the Missouri River. The home is also just minutes from some of Bismarck's most popular attractions, including the Dakota Zoo, Sertoma Park, Super Slide Amusement Park, and the Lewis & Clark Riverboat.

Whether you're visiting family, attending local events, exploring Bismarck, or simply looking for a peaceful getaway, The River House offers a memorable stay that combines the beauty of nature with the convenience of being just minutes from everything the city has to offer.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use all areas of property besides the Garage and Backyard Shed. Garage will be a future option for guests staying for small events and gatherings.

Other things to note
Kids toys, highchair, pack n play and Table Leafs are stored under the stairs in the basement bedroom. A baby gate is available upon request. We are a local family, please reach out with further requests or needs.

*The River House is located in a natural waterfront setting surrounded by mature trees and wildlife.

Guests may occasionally see deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, birds, and other wildlife on or near the property. Please enjoy wildlife from a respectful distance and do not feed animals.

Children should be supervised outdoors at all times, especially near the water.

The fire pit may only be used when local burn restrictions permit. Guests are responsible for monitoring fires and ensuring they are completely extinguished when finished. Please note that it is an open fire pit. Some lawn chairs, yard games and fire pit lighters and starter pods are located in large brown bin next to backyard shed.

Note* The property has underground sprinkler system. A few times a week beginning around 6:30am to 8am this may be operating.

This is a peaceful residential area. We kindly ask guests to respect our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
