"The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean, cozy and a perfect location with the dock. We were able to bring our boat, fish, and crab. It was incredibly relaxing! The neighbors were extremely nice and very helpful!"

Trevor, the homeowner was accessible for answering questions or taking care of any issues. "The house was exactly how the pictures showed !Cute and cozy ,and clean ! Im a country girl and felt at home sitting on the porch,enjoying the breeze. The sound of the ocean was a bonus!! Quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and morning walk on the dock. Overall i enjoyed my stay appreciate the hospitality of the host and would booked again !! "

"What a wonderful stay we had! The house was so comfortable with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the brisk mornings on the porch and the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and linens. The scenery and landscape in the area are breathtaking. Every turn provided another incredible view of the water. Fishing Creek is close to so many beautiful, quaint towns along the Chesapeake Bay. Highly recommend!"

"Quiet street with a water view. Minutes to the beach. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfy beds, nicely stocked baths. We were there during a nasty heatwave and the AC served us very well. Outside space is awesome with a really cool screen room. I give it 10 out of 10 and would love to return. Also amazing hosts!"

"Host was communicative and available for any questions. This place was what we needed, two people and a dog that is relatively barky. The seclusion is what we were looking for and we got it. The yard was so large for him to sniff and have a good time without any neighbors in sight.The screened in porch is where we would eat our meals or enjoy coffee and the view, great sunsets and some birding. The living room was spacious for us, with comfortable chairs. WiFi was great because we didn’t have...

"This house is huge and has lots of different indoor and outdoor gathering spaces so the kids and adults in our group of three families didn’t have to be on top of each other in one living space the whole time. Big firepit area and huge lawn were great, and we enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. There’s a place to buy fresh crabs, oysters, and shrimp very close by, and the house has everything you need for a crab night. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind."

"This was the best rental! Cute little early 1900s farmhouse with beach decor. The kitchen js well equipped and there js a nice grill outside. The firepit was a nice way to spend evenings as was the screen porch.The little beach about a 5 minute ride/15 min walk was an added bonus! We will definitely rent here again!"

"We srayed at this property due to number of guests and proximity to the college. It was a great mix of old and new. This house was wonderfully appointed and everyone enjoyed their stay. The views were spectacular and we had everything we needed and more. It was unexpectedly remote, but once we got used to it, it was barely noticeable. We are even considering staying here again "

"An amazing family getaway. Laura was beyond wonderful and gracious. Laura took my family fishing and they cannot wait to do it again. People are friendly and wave as you pass them by. Food was great. Thank you to the owners of Old Salty’s who were kind to us. The view the food the drinks…top notch. The house had everything we needed. Would go again!!! "
