"We srayed at this property due to number of guests and proximity to the college. It was a great mix of old and new. This house was wonderfully appointed and everyone enjoyed their stay. The views were spectacular and we had everything we needed and more. It was unexpectedly remote, but once we got used to it, it was barely noticeable. We are even considering staying here again "

We appreciated the comfortable beds and linens.The kitchen is well stocked and functions well.Simply and nicely decorated.We looked forward to kayaking and enjoyed that, but,it is quite mushy getting down and into the water. We went to all the recommended locations and enjoyed them all. It is a quiet location, free of traffic and crowds. After our stay at the blue heron we finished the day at st Michael’s just 48 minutes from the blue heron…… it’s a lovely...

"This property was a perfect location for our family as we attended a wedding on Hooper's Island. After we were able to get in the house, we discovered an extremely welcoming home. The code vrbo sent was incorrect. Fortunately the owner after several emails, sent someone. She was got us in and showed us around. There were plenty of towels. The refrigerator was empty so we could immediately put our groceries away. We had forgotten coffee but there was also coffee and tea. There was a great...

The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to comfy beds. Just a short walk to the beach, and the sunsets were incredible. "My best friend and I spent a weekend at the lodge and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed by Debbie and she gave us a nice tour of the place. We love sea glass hunting and there is a great spot not far from the lodge where we found TONS. I also found shark teeth! The lodge was very clean, unique, and in a beautiful location. We can't wait to come back with our husbands!"
