Villa Trupial is a family house with a great view over the Caribbean ocean

Villa Trupial is a family home under the Caribbean sun, on Curaçao—the island of perpetual summer—on a private estate near the beautiful beach of Playa Cas Abao.

The open-plan living room and kitchen open onto the veranda and open dining area, overlooking the swimming pool and beyond to a panoramic view of the sea. Next to the pool, you’ll also find an outdoor dining area and a BBQ for entertaining. The four bedrooms surround a central courtyard, each with its own private en-suite bathroom.

The courtyard connects to the living room/kitchen, with wide-opening shutter doors leading out onto the spacious veranda, which features lounge chairs and a large dining table where guests can enjoy the view and then cool off in the pool. Much of the veranda and pool are not overlooked, so it’s a private space where you can relax. All the bedrooms have louvered shutters that let the cooling breeze in, with fans and air conditioning for the hottest nights.

Guests have access to the entire villa (except for a storage room), and it is not shared with anyone else. The garden and pool are relatively private, with the only disruption being scheduled pool cleaning on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The property manager is Dushi Villa. Please contact them to arrange your arrival; they can also advise you on transportation and car rental. Although a few initial essentials will be provided at the villa—including some drinks and food—a Dushi Villa staff member can direct you to an ATM and a supermarket. They will be available by phone throughout your stay to help with any issues.

Please note that our rate includes Wi-Fi, gas, and water. Electricity is included only when using the AC at night. If you use the AC during the day, you will be charged the local rate of $0.50 / €0.50 per kWh.

For those new to Curaçao—the local currency is XCG (locally called “Caribbean Guilders”), but USD is accepted, and you can withdraw either from ATMs.

Cas Abao, and Villa Trupial in particular, is the perfect place to spend your vacation and completely unwind. In addition to the beautiful beaches—including Cas Abao Beach itself, which is among the most beautiful in the world—you can enjoy plenty of diving, snorkeling, and recreational activities. Furthermore, it is a very beautiful, green area where all homes, including Villa Trupial, enjoy plenty of privacy.

Very close to the villa is a diving center where the team organizes shore or boat diving and snorkeling tours once or twice a day. There are several charming restaurants in the West Punt area, some of which are near the Cas Abao resort.
