Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and make you feel like a house guest. Good quality of food and choice and nice gardens to get fresh air after a days work. Have booked again for next week!

Clean, friendly, no sleep disturbance.
Clean room, friendly reception staff, even though there was a large party going on that afternoon & night we had no noise disturbance great night sleep and wasn’t awoken by others doors slamming in the morning. Bathroom and garden area were lovely. Never made it to the spa. We were there for a gig at the steelmill nearby so ate out restaurant in hotel was busy so assumed good food.

Lovely hotel
We chose the hotel as it was near a family party venue. We did not use the spa facilities as we were only there for one night. We did have a late lunch and a breakfast which were good. the staff were very helpful and friendly.

It’s a nice place and the service was good but it isn’t really for families, the pool is only over 18s which was really disappointing for my children, and there isn’t a kids menu. If you’re going with friends or as a couple though I am sure you’d have a lovely time

Really nice old property and plenty of parking. Bit quirky had to go up the stairs along a corridor and back down. Can’t really comment about the facilities as we arrived and departed straight away to see Extreme at The Halls. So, to the crux. A mistake was made with our booking. We arrived to find just one bed even though the booking was for 3 people. I had to trek back to reception and told them we had booked a superior room with a sofa bed. I was told that they don’t have a superior room with more than 1 bed. They offered to book me another room at twice the cost. Bearing in mind we arrived at 19:00 that room was likely going to be unsold so I don’t know why they couldn’t just swap the room. They suggested if I went back on a booking site I might be able to book it cheaper. I don’t think they did enough to resolve the issue. I didn’t have time for an extended conversation as we had to get a taxi into Wolverhampton. As a result all 3 of us had to share the bed and barely got any sleep. I have done a search this morning and the room I thought I booked is on there and described as suitable for 3 guests. I don’t know whose error this was but the hotel knew the booking was for 3 people and did not query that the room only slept 2. Very poor customer service which is doubly disappointing as it seemed like a decent hotel. I regularly come to see family in the area and will be back at the end of the month but I will be looking elsewhere.

What a lovely hotel! Spent one night to break up journey to Wales. Had a family room for two of us and it was immaculate . Huge big shower and the most comfy beds EVER. The breakfast is to die for. Dissappointed
The room was supposed to be a king size bed but it was a double bed. They charged £3.50 for a tea in the bar but we were given a mug with a tea bad in it rather than a teapot full. Dinner was lovely. Breakfast was shocking, coffee ran out, tea was weak and stewing in a flask. Ran out of pastries, plates very cold and cooked breakfast items cold. Complained to manager who was rude and told me to contact through website. I persevered and he eventually refunded cost of breakfast.

We are sorry that you are not happy about the Tea that serve to you from the Bar. Kindly be inform that I did not rude to yourself where by I try to solve your complaint about the Breakfast. I do apologize that you feel like that to my self which is I did not, we have over 90 people who has breakfast and we did not received any other complaint beside yourself. Warmest Regards,
