"Hotel location at the crossroad of highly popular roads made it noisy all day and night. To avoid if you’re sensitive to traffic noise. The room was just below the roof AC machine controlling the corridors cooling. It turned on and off every hour making the most horrible sound and trembling of the room. The staff admitted it but couldn’t help it. The breakfast was super limited and the cherry on the top is that you eat on paper plates with plastic cutlery 🫣☹️"

"Room was great, clean and comfortable. The staff at this hotel are beyond amazing and very friendly. From the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. Everyone I encountered was friendly and always spoke. If you have to stay in Charlottesville I recommend staying here"

"We have stayed at the property approximately three times and it has always been awesome. The property is currently undergoing upgrades and the front desk staff was great about letting everyone know the hours when work would be occurring. "

"Another great stay under the Homewood Suites brand. This unit in Charlottesville looks super clean and new, with spacious bedrooms, high quality amenities and delicious breakfast. Also, a very welcome complimentary self-parking, and a perfectly well maintained self-operated laundry room. Staff were always very kind. The neighborhood has several options of restaurants and supermarkets, it’s safe and very close to UVA and the charming downtown."

"This hotel is gorgeous and immaculately maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location perfect for its proximity to the mall. The service was excellent. The only downside is a steep pet fee, which appears to be customary in the area."

"10/10 stay! Clean, spacious suite rooms. Very kind, professional staff. Some rooms are pet-friendly, which I needed for this trip. Walkable to the downtown outdoor mall area which was great. Good continental breakfast. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again! "

"Comfortable and good size room, friendly staff . The only thing is the breakfast timing, it’s only till 9:30 and from 9:20 the staff shuts half the door and gives u a look that ur late. Also by 9 mostly everything is finished and no chance of refill in time. So if they could extend till 10, that would be great. Also the cleaning is on request so twice after requesting also my room did not get cleaned. Rest my stay was v good. "

"The Doyle is beautiful and ideally located. Parking is down the street but other than that it was perfect. Near great restaurants and very walkable. "
