"The staff at the front desk were terribly Friendly- MS REBECCA, KUSEY (hope I got it right) and the very lovely GM of the hotel. She offered my husband the local beer which was a very kind gesture. We were surprised at the respectfulness, friendliness and everything that you can ask from a front desk staff. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious. My husband enjoyed the bacon."

"Fomos colocados no quarto de frente para a rua e a noite toda barulhos na estrada… como o sistema é de auto atendimento não tinha nem recepção para reclamar e pedir a troca de quarto… foi bem difícil dormir com barulho. O café da manhã é muito bom "

"Parece que tinha alguns espíritos o sabonete não parava no lugar, a cortina do banheiro se movia sem ter vento, barulho de criança correndo durante a noite. Foi sinistro. Pra quem gosta de aventura eu recomendo. Não tem recepção e não tem ar condicionado. "

The room, including the en suite bathroom is no bigger than a standard American bathroom, airless, windowless, and claustrophobic. We did not sleep, no air quality controls. However, the establishment is charming, the breakfast was ample and the staff is ultra kind and the hotel\restaurant is a five minute walk from the train station and superbly located- loved Appenzell and the surrounding...

"Hotel mais antigo , sem ar codicionado no verao o que vc precisa abrir as portas e com isso tem um predio enorme olhando pra cama , sem.privacidade NENHUMA . Tem um rio que passa , que é agradavem da varanda .. uma varanda como o quarto bem improvisado .. antigo . A cidade é linda vale muito vir .. mas as 21h nao tem mais ninguem na rua rs"
