"This was the perfect location. Close to restaurants, shopping and the covered bridge. The room was big and comfortable and it felt more like an apartment rather than a "hotel" room. Check-in was so easy as was the access to our room and parking. We will absolutely be back again in the spring to visit our daughter at Milligan University."

"It was a reasonable drive to the Bristol Motor Speedway. Lake Watauga is a short drive that I wish I had spent more time visiting. There are no TVs in the bedrooms but we didn't mind since it was only one night. I would definitely stay again."

"We had a very good stay. We found the house very clean. The living space is cheerful and whimsical and we enjoyed the art. Conveniently located. "This house had everything a large family could want. A secluded (but not isolated), beautiful large yard both front and back. A river, bamboo forest, old growth trees and large covered porch with ample seating and table. I wish we had longer to stay to enjoy a nice campfire in their rustic fire pit. It looks like a great fishing spot as well though I didn't have time to try. Shopping wasn't to far away so a plus there as well. The house itself was large had a nice sized kitchen, family room...

"Loved The Gracie Suite!
We absolutely loved our stay at The Downtown Post in The Gracie Suite! From the moment we arrived, it felt comfortable, welcoming, and peaceful. The suite was beautifully done, very clean, and had so much charm and character.
It was one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully put together, and we really appreciated the little details that made our stay extra enjoyable.
