LOCATED north of Grand Rapids, MN, on the PRIVATE Wasson Lake.
Wasson Lake is a private 438-acre spring-fed lake offering 17 feet of water clarity. With a depth of 67 feet and numerous bays, the lake offers great fishing. The shoreline has many submerged points surrounded by deep water, down timber, and large areas of cabbage weed and wild rice. There are four islands on the lake, and NO PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE LAKE, so it is private and quiet. You may bring your own boat, which can be launched at Loon Point Resort. EXCELLENT fishing for large and smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie, & northern pike.
Resort access: Loon Point Resort, which sits just down the lakeshore from this cabin, manages this White Pine lake cabin. Guests staying at this White Pine lake cabin have access to the resort amenities and swim beach, which includes additional kayaks, canoes, stand-up boards, paddleboats, hydro-paddlers, water trampoline, Little Tykes water slide, fish cleaning shack, & volleyball court. Access to the resort Lodge which carries groceries, ice cream, clothes, and gift items.
BOAT RENTALS: Please inquire with Loon Point Resort if you are interested in renting a boat or pontoon.
ATV TRAILS & SNOWMOBILE TRAILS: You have direct access to trails from the cabin. Trails lead to local bars & grills and convenience stores for food, drinks, and gas. We ride both ATV and snowmobile, so we will give you maps and can give you tips on where to ride!!
