"This property exceeded expectations! It was so fantastic to thoroughly enjoy the quiet getaway in such cozy surroundings. The little extras (variety of teas, plump cushions, cozy throws, reading lamp and corner chair) really made us feel pampered. We enjoyed the sauna, short walk to the Main Street and variety of restaurants. Theses owners are experts in hospitality."

The power was out for most of our stay - not their fault, it affected the whole region - but the wood stove, the propane stovetop, and wood-fired hot tub meant we could still enjoy all the things! "The place was not clean as much expected. All the spices, salt and oil were date expired. Basement’s rooms were full of bugs on the floor and in the room. Couldn’t sleep well because of those. Overall not recommended. Bad experience. "

"Jared (the owner) made our stay at Hubbards beach one we wont soon forget. The staff accommodated our every need, going above and beyond to secure us provisions when all the shops were closed for canada day. The cottage (oak hollow) was spacious, comfortably sleeping 5 adults, with a rustic and comfortable decor. The fireplace in the cottage saw a lot of use and was fully stocked with wood at no cost. Steps from the gorgeous hubbards beach, this spot had no shortage of activities to keep us...
