"The location was great, but the carpet inside the cabin was filthy, there was a used wash cloth left in the bathroom, the mattress dips noticeably in the middle of the bed, light bulbs were out inside the cabin, and the furniture on the porch was covered in dust/pollen to the point that we couldn’t sit on it."

"This cabin is in the community of cabins of the old “Pinewood Cabins”. Trying to book with pinewood was impossible and stressful so by luck I found “The Old Home Place” on VRBO. Booking was a breeze and I would book again with this host. It is a beautiful and well equipped cabin and is in walking distance of downtown, although it is on the lower side of the hill so you would be walking uphill for a bit to get to the main st. "Super clean and lots of room for everyone. The location can not be beat. Right off the square, walking distance from lots of great shops. And it’s fun to sit in the living room and people watch the square. One bed is soft and the others are very firm. Being extra towels and if you like extra or fluffy pillows you may want to bring some. And a hairdryer, this is one of the few houses we found without one. But great location!"

"The “Nook” was a great location for walking to all events and shopping in Mountain View. It was very clean and I would have given it a 4.8 if I could. The only reason it wasn’t a 5 star review is due to the bathroom sink not draining properly and it is a bit pricey. But, all in all, a great place."
