Two-story cabin with a spacious open floor plan and aesthetically modern touches that will make your mountain getaway feel luxurious. Walk to the lake, marinas, Alpine Slide, and delicious local restaurants. Just a short drive to the Village, ski resorts, golf course, Alpine Zoo, Snow Play, and more! Also, there is parking for two cars in the driveway.

Wanted a peaceful relaxing getaway and thatā€™s exactly what we got. We were close to shopping, restaurants and the lake but far enough away to still enjoy some quietness. Michael is a phenomenal host and he communicated important information when necessary.

You Can do Better

TLDR; You can do much better for the price. Host gives annoying corporate landlord vibe, house wasnā€™t very comfortable. Positives: house cleaners did a thorough job, grill and hot tub are nice amenities Negatives: - Loud Construction. The houses in this neighborhood are very close together. We were surprised by loud construction noises next door. We requested a partial refund and the host sent us 50, which felt insignificant and silly. - Cheap Furnishings. The furniture is cheap and uncomfortable to sit on. The fridge doesnā€™t get very cold. There were no kitchen basics like salt. - Overbearing Rules. My family planned and enjoyed a quiet, typical weekend in BB. That being said, from the minute we booked we were overwhelmed with excessive rules and threats of hefty fines for things like leaving behind food or playing ANY music indoor or outdoor (this was especially rich, since the construction crew blasted country music all day). We were made to pack out all of our own trash, which is something that the host could easily take care of. (See cheap corporate land lord)Location: the listing makes it seem like there is easy walkability to the lake and village. If youā€™re up for walking along a busy road with no sidewalks, then I guess thatā€™s true. Otherwise, youā€™re driving. We still had an amazing trip, but we wonā€™t be staying here again or any of the other listings managed by Savvy Bears Rentals.

Close to everything Big Bear

Property is centrally located to all the main attractions. Located in a neighborhood, it keeps you away from the main strip and allows for a peaceful stay. The cabin is clean and has all your basic home essentials. The hot tub is a great feature and made the stay extra special.

Snow Adventure

Very nice cozy home in the winter. This home offered an amazing warm fireplace, and a nice Hot Tub in the woods. My only warning is if it snows heavily the driveway and road is a challenge.

It was a very cozy and welcoming little cabin, it was stocked with most everything needed to have a great worry free stay. Everything is well taken care of and the management is extremely helpful and very responsive. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay and would love to return some day!!

Thanksgiving get away

Comfortable, cozy cabin within walking distance of the lake and the Village. Host was incredibly responsive to all of our needs and questions. It was a wonderful place to unwind and celebrate the holiday.

Perfect House, Perfect Host

This was one of the cleanest homes I have ever rented through VRBO. It was exactly as it showed in the pictures. I had a cool modern retro look to it. The primary bedroom had most comfortable bed ever! Big squishy pillows, and comforter. Slept like a champ! The host, Michael, was extremely responsive every time I messaged. He also proactively sent messages to me that provided any detail I couldā€™ve thought to ask. I would absolutely stay here again.

Enjoyable and Comfortable

Yes, we enjoyed our stay! The cabin was comfortable, enjoyable, and in a nice location. We would consider returning if a few issues are corrected. We've conveyed the following to the owner, Michael. The washer/dryer was broken, and because of this we ran out of towels. There was a single frying pan that was well past its prime. There was also a total lack of shelving in the entire cabin, which was especially frustrating in the bathrooms. And most critically, there was a sharp piece of metal sticking out of the bunkbed which cut my son's finger. Michael responded "I'll get the crew on it." Future guests can report if there are any improvements.

A true gem in the mountains of Big Bear Lake

You will not be disappointed choosing this lovely, cozy, updated cabin located in a very quiet neighborhood. From the moment you walk into the cabin, you feel the pride of ownership in design and to ensure each guest feels welcome and comfortable. From the updated kitchen, furniture, comfortable beds, and linens. The bathrooms are well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion, and lush towels.. The outdoor setting is ideal for grilling, enjoying a glass of wine, and relaxing in the jacuzzi. A huge thank you to Michael, the host, for making us feel right at home in his lovely cabin. He is very responsive to any questions or concerns you may have. The only downsize to our visit, it went by too quickly! We will definitely be booking this gem in the mountains next summer.

Wonderful House in Nature to enjoy!

We were looking for a quiet romantic getaway and this place was perfect. The hot tub on the deck, the views from the house, excellent parking, just drive up and the door is down a few stairs. Host had the driveway and stairs cleared of snow. Every window you could see trees and the beauty of the outdoor. We brought our small dog, and she loved it too. It has everything you need, and the host provides all the coffee, creamers and even makeup remover towelettes. So thoughtful. Bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Host responded right away with answers and was very friendly and kind. Great place to stay. The host even provided dog dishes for water and food. We loved it here. Thank you.

Wonderful stay!

Our family (2 adults / 1 child) booked our stay during the holidays. We had a lovely time - the cabin was immaculately clean, very well organized, contained unexpected amenities (coffee pods, laundry detergent), and tastefully decorated (including festive holiday decorations!). The owner, Michael, was appropriately communicative - providing all the necessary details prior to our stay, checking in on our first day making sure everything was acceptable, and then reaching out thanking us at the end.

Clean comfortable stay. Convenient location

This cabin has been nicely refreshed and well cared for. It was spotless, and everything worked. Despite being a pet friendly property I didn't find pet hair anywhere. The hot tub water was clean/fresh. The location is convenient, perhaps 3 minutes drive from the Big Bear village. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. This property is very comfortable for 3-5 people. I would bring my family back to stay here again.
