Evergreen Paradise is perfect for everyone. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear walking distance to the lake and Village. This home comes equipped with everything you need for a memorable mountain getaway!

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1100+ sq ft home with living room, dining table, a TV, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 1 bath. First bedroom has a king bed and TV. Second bedroom has a queen/queen bunk bed and TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, and more.

AMENITIES - Newly remodeled game room in garage with arcade games, foosball table, and pool table! Board games and card games. Smart TV with cable, streaming apps along with fast WiFi. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with side-by-side washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - New hot tub, patio furniture, and gas barbecue. Enjoy the large back deck!

Fun game room and good location

The cabin had a great game room that kept us entertained. And it was walking distance to Pineknot Trail, which was super convenient for a morning hike.

Iā€™ll start by saying I have never had a more difficult check in process. They demanded I give them pics of my ID and credit card. Hello identity theft. Iā€™ve never been asked for this before. After all that I stated weā€™d get there around 3:45 for a 4 check in and was promptly told we will get the info at 4 on the dot. K. But did end up letting us in a few min early. Get to the place and wow. They called this remodeled. I call it quirky and odd. Thereā€™s nothing remodeled. The carpet is from the 80s. I think they are calling vinyl tile a few places remodeled. Nothing is attached so to be in the game room (garage) you have to go outside. Also many of the games were broken. I mean itā€™s in a decent location and we had fun because we enjoyed the area. But I donā€™t think Iā€™d rent this place or go through big bear cool rentals. Cool in the name is curious. More like big bear very uptight rentals.

Very old cabin which was misleading in the pics. Way overpriced, and the cabin just needed more tlc and basic necessity upgrades to be a rental The place had a lot of cobwebs inside along with the light smell of cigarette smoke which apparently had been an issue before The only reason i chose this cabin was the game room for my son! Btw a handful of the games dont work We always want a jacuzzi, and a pool table and if any other games are available then we are usually sold

Great place, except for heavy cigarette smell throughout the house. Could also use deeper cleaning/dusting, especially since itā€™s a pet friendly accommodation.

Arcade escape

This rental was perfect for our family needs as a place that is quiet enough for the kids to recharge or put them in the arcade room to burn up some Energy between trips into town. We had great communication with the managers and would recommend this place to others!

Enjoyable Stay at Evergreen Paradise

We had a nice, cozy couple of days here at Evergreen Paradise. Check-in was easy and the house was clean. The only issues that came up had to do with the game room and they were pretty minimal. A couple of the games were a little problematic and a few of the tips of the pool cue sticks were worn down, so just basic wear-and-tear stuff that could be addressed but it didn't hinder our experience. For instance Leonardo on the Ninja Turtle game was a little unresponsive but I mean he's probably the best Ninja Turtle so he's probably being selected a lot so maybe that's why lol! But overall the game room was such a fun addition. It was just me and my partner and we spent a lot of time in there playing and watching YouTube so I can imagine it's great for everyone of all ages. I would return for sure.

We enjoyed our stay!

We love the game room and the privacy of our own cabin. I love that its really close to everything. Very convenient. The only thing i have is the bathroom door do not close, also the curtain at the bedroom fell on me because its not hanging on anything it was just hang on top of the window without security. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! :)

Awesome game room!!!!

My bf, our pup and I really enjoyed our stay, we had a blast in the game room!! The top deck with jacuzzi was nice where we enjoyed our morning coffee, we didnā€™t get to use the jacuzzi this weekend (not enough time in the day lol) but that just means weā€™ll have to come back to try it out :) Cabin is just a short walk from the village and lake. Everything was clean, the king size bed was comfortable and the cabin had just about everything you might need for your stay! Will definitely be back soon! :)

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was perfect for my husband and I. We had so much fun playing pool and fun video games in the game room while watching the big screen. It would be great for a family with kids too! Really enjoyed the deck with bbq and it was a great location. We canā€™t wait to go back!

Too Small & Poor Physical condition of the unit

The beds filled the 90% of both bedrooms with no place to put clothes and other personal items.. The doors were damaged and the front door was so misfit it was a struggle every time to open and close the main door that has 2 locks. The floors were not level; the unit had the feel of being victim of an earthquake. We would not recommend this unit to anyone. The SPA was in excellent condition and very enjoyable. The kitchen was so tiny it was difficult for 2 people to work in it at the same time. Even though some of the games in the game room were not working well and/or partiallly broken, the Game Room is the biggest plus of the whole unit. for both kids and adults.

Epic Game Room

We chose this property based on the game room. Our kids spent most of the time in there. We had a fun filled family game night. The rest of the house is accurate in it's description and photos. Bunk beds are always a hit for the kids in the main house and the guest house. Kitchen is a bit cramped but if your are making simple meals it's fine. Check in process was a bit of a hassle. We had to drive to a separate location to stand in a crowded room to get our access code for a lockbox. During a spike in the pandemic this was not appreciated. Especially since the code could have been sent directly to us. Everyone at the office was helpful and nice. It was just inconvenient to drive there and wait in line. Other than that, the property is great and would rent again.

Outdated check in /over priced cabin

The day we were to check in Cool Cabins makes you go into the super crowded office and try to park your car in the bumper to bumper maxed out parking lot. Theres absolutly no excuse for this procedure! Its 2021 you simply can give your customers a lockbox code and save everybody a ton of hassle on their vacation. The owner claims the city makes them do this NOT TRUE! We finaly get to the cabin to find the game room flooding from poor landscaping. The water heater had frozen up no hot water,. The fireplace was flooding into the livingroom from rain water .

Fun!

The property was clean..the game room was awesome. The house has a funky lay out but was just fine for our trip. Kitchen was small with very little counter space, but for simple meals, it's perfect.
