This Cozy Lake-View Lodge in Big Bear Lake is conveniently located next to the entrance of the Village Shopping Center, Restaurants, Ski Resorts, BB Lake and activity centers. Our newly remodeled cabins will provide you with the ultimate comfort and experience.

(#3) Is a boutique family cabin features 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, stone fireplace, and flatscreen TV's with Roku. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, with a jetted tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a sofa. Very cozy!

Everything was great! Very cute little cabin we felt right at home and had everything we needed. The parking spot was a little difficult for me to get into, but my boyfriend had no issues with it when he was driving. Thank you!

the heater did not work, nor were there instructions on how to turn it on. the bath tub only put extremely hot water, no cold came out. the front door lock would not open half the time, it took multiple time to get the door open. Other than that the place was clean and cozy, beds were comfortable.

The path to/from the parking area was very dark at night which was difficult for our children and us carrying an infant. Other than that the facilities were nice and everything was clean and functional. Check in and check out were easy and the property management was great at communicating with us

Overall, a great stay. However, the main thing that would have made it a 5 star stay instead of 4 star is upon arrival, it smelled like a strong cleaning agent. Maybe air out rooms for a few hours after cleaning to improve the guest experience? Other than that, great place for the price!

Lots of problems

Room was very dirty. Holes in walls. Unpainted sheet of plywood screwed into bathroom door, presumably covering more holes. One of the 2 bath towels had somebody else’s blood on it. Holes in shower enclosure. Several light bulbs in the lamps were burned out or lamps broken. The very worst part was as the heater. The room had no A/C and we probably could have been okay with that, except the permanently mounted and hard wired heater would not turn off. 90 degrees in that room, despite setting thermostat all the way down at 50 degrees. No on/off capability. Had to open all the windows, which had no screens and we were right next to common area. Restless, hot, uncomfortable night.

So bad that we were surprised, especially the host.

Only up side was location.Disappointed by the following points:- Dirty towels, dirt stains like it was used to wipe floors- Loose metal panel on the floor, could’ve tripped and cut my children- Loose nail on the floor, anyone could’ve stepped on it- No water stopper for the jacuzzi, how are you supposed to use it?- Insufficient hot water for family, 3 out of 4 had to shower in cold water. - Unchanged bedding, had very strong perfume scent all over one side of bed, you can tell it was “put back” rather than changed, very disturbingly uncomfortable - Broken light upon arrival- Very poor heating, only in kitchen, none for the rooms you actually sleep in- Dirty floor, crumbs on foot if you don’t wear slippers- No lighting for the external stairs, very dangerous after sun down Worst of all, host is not responsive to your voice, after spending 2 nights and no less than 7 lines of complaints, host had the audacity to “hope you had a great time” me, completely ignored our unpleasant experience and attempts to get fair compensation. Beyond disappointed and will certainly never book any properties under this management again and will for sure spread the word so no others suffer the same treatment we had to endure.

Best Location

It was very good for us. But the 4 stars is for some people who may be very OC about cleanliness. It is not spotless clean but it is pretty clean and has everything you will need should you wish to cook. Location is close to everything - The Village, tourist spots, park, lake, trolley stops. We could not complain. ☺️ Host is very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend this place!

Love the location and set up. Could have been cleaner. No broom (and floors were dirty) also ants all over kitchen and hot tub in room. Otherwise, nice quiet visit.

Very Cozy Cabin in Perfect Location

This cabin was the perfect size for us family of 4. The beds were extremely comfortable and warm. The big jacuzzi tub was super clean. One disclaimer-the driveway to get to the cabin is incredibly steep. We would have been able to drive up it just fine had there not been a sheet of ice and fallen snow. My car is only 2 wheel drive and we had chains on, but couldnt make it up. We had to park pretty far away from the cabin itself and haul all of our luggage up in the snow storm. The next time we plan a trip we will make sure the weather is better for my car.

Quick getaway

This property was exactly what the listing describes. Great price and close to the village. We arrived at 4:00 pm and check in is at 3:00 pm. The cleaning crew was just finishing picking up the trash as we were arriving.

No heat in the cabin ruined our trip

There was no heat in the cabin. My family froze all night we had to leave first thing in the morning to get to a heat source away from the cabin. I did not get any help from the host. There were no extra blankets or firewood to help us. I will never stay there again.
