Snowy Evening Lodge + Firepit + Treetop Views

Tucked away in a tranquil picturesque setting in the highly sought after area of Moonridge you will find Snowy Evening Lodge, a single story log style rustic 3- bedroom cabin full of charm. Surrounded by towering trees, this property is conveniently located near hiking trails, ski resorts, the zoo, and more, making it the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts. Large back deck is the perfect space to relax with friends and family around the firepit and take in the mountain fresh air.

Kitchen: Ignite your culinary delights in our fully equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee, cream and sugar and a Keurig Dou for your stay.

Living Room: Relax and kick back with the entire crew and enjoy the Smart TV, gas fireplace, sofa and foosball table that transforms into a pool table, ping pong table, table hockey, and chessboard.

Primary Bedroom: Get a peaceful nights rest in the Master bedroom featuring a King size bed, Smart TV, love seat, views and en suite bathroom.

Bedroom Two: Relax and unwind in the second bedroom featuring a Queen size bed and Smart TV.

Bedroom Three: Bring the cubs, there is room! The third bedroom features a Twin over Full Bunk bed set and a big bean bag chair that unzips into a full size bed.

Outdoor space: Immerse yourself in nature and take full advantage of the amazing outdoor space complete with a firepit, Gas propane BBQ, and outdoor seating and dining on large deck with treetop views.

Free Big Bear Trolley:

Mountain Transit's Free Big Bear Trolley service offers convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors to help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley.

Traffic and illegal parking are a significant issue for Big Bear during the busy winter and summer seasons. We encourage everyone to leave their vehicles at their homes or rentals and hop on the Free Big Bear Trolley to navigate the town.

Three new routes have been specially designed to make accessing restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, ski resorts, snow play areas, parks and work easy and efficient.

*Entertainment available at the property:
books, board games, dvds, dvd player, wifi, puzzles and foosball table transforms into a pool table, ping pong table, table hockey, and chessboard.

Driveway is sloped down toward house. No Garage access.

To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.

If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.

Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our 'things to know' and 'house rules' sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.
Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.

(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.

(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.

(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.

(5) Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or around the house is subject to a $25 per bag for removal. Please make sure all trash is bagged and tightly secured inside the bins and the lids are shut tight. Any trash left inside the home will be subject to a fee.

(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.

(7) Pet- The home is strictly not pet friendly as the owners have severe allergies. Any violation is subject to eviction and a $3500 fine plus damages to the home will be charged.

(8) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.

(9) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.

(10) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home.

(11) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.

(12) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at anytime for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.
